Description - Competition Czechoslovakia is one of the annual competitions hosted by Wikimedia Czech Republic. It is focused both on experienced editors and people who never edited before. During the challenge, we teach Wikipedia users who are interested in the topic how to edit. People can also upload photos to participate.
Metrics -quantitative: Number of articles and pictures uploaded, number of participants; qualitative: jury will pick the articles that are "articles of the highest quality, particularly beneficial for Wikipedia".

I'm getting an error in the preview because the banner is loading an external Montserrat font. Is this needed? Can we use a different font instead?
For the correlation to the other campaign (which I will likely create later today) we have a couple of options: e.g., we can change from 50:50 display to any kind of percentage. But we can also let the 3 displays per 2 days standard setting (can be changed upon your request) of the primary campaign complete first and then show the other campaign (which would be adapted by different priority levels but at a 100 % display for each when they run). Hi! This is my first proposal for a banner, so, please, feel free to tell me how to improve it in any way.
In Spanish Wikipedia, I have been organizing the local edition of the Asian Month for the past 2 years. It is sad to see such an interesting project, and one that started my contributions to the Spanish Wikipedia, loose users every year, going from 42 at its best moment to 18 in last year's edition.
I think a banner could greatly improve discovery of this event, which offers a soft, cute landing for new users, and an interesting objective for more experienced users.

As the campaign is coming to an end and the national elections are at the end of the month, we want to strengthen communication to increase participation.

@Paula (WDU): I have created the campaign and banner (preview, I've only added the logo once which should be sufficient, I think). However, I did not add English projects to the campaign settings because there was no English banner text provided nor the landing page available in this language. Furthermore, we usually expect campaign requesters to notify the local projects about the upcoming campaign (to see vetos or consensus). For a campaign limited to Uruguay, it might be okay without that, but English projects in particular are very strict about involvement (and translations). Let me know how we proceed from here? Description - Since the launch of Bangla Wikivoyage, we've faced challenges with the addition of copyrighted content and non-compliant pages, leading to a significant drop in the number of articles after removals. Many key travel destinations still lack content, and despite 226 million Bengali speakers globally, awareness of the project remains low. We also struggle with a lack of an active community, as some members are unfamiliar with the site's policies and editing procedures, resulting in decreased interest in contributing. A competition is being organized to solve these problems. We want a banner for it.

Description - The #SheSaid drive, part of the Wiki Loves Women initiative, celebrates women leaders by focusing on enhancing their visibility through the creation and improvement of Wikiquote entries related to them.
Metrics - We will measure the metrics by the number of articles created and improved on WikiQuopte for each participating language.

Type of grant - On Wiki in Africa side, the campaign is funded by an annual grant. Some other groups are likely to use their annual support grant too. During the last year, a dozen of groups applied for a rapid grant to support that project and this is likely to be the same this year.

Like last year, we will only enable the campaign for those languages in which the banner + landing page has translations. Over the weekend I have been working to improve the SheSaid banners by shortening the participant pipeline (number of clicks they need to engage with the landing page). By creating individual campaigns and banners for all languages, the engagement is now much more direct. For this I reviewed all the languages and landing pages you have listed on the Meta page and collected them here in one overview with the information I need for the banners, and noticed that 5 languages do not have a landing page for SheSaid 2024: I have decided to not target these languages anymore, since I assume these are not really participating? No landing page means no available information for participants. For the 4 languages that I, after a month of running the translatable banner, don't have a local language version on the banner text available, they are still receiving the general banner they saw previously, but will still be send to Meta where the participant will have to look up their project manually (instead of being directed to their Wikiquote directly).

What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?
We'd like to continue the campaign from last year (request). The banner will only be running for two days before the first Wednesday of each month, and will be targeted to users with less than 100 edits. Jon Harald Søby (WMNO) (talk) 08:24, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Requests must be made, at minimum, 10 days in advance of any campaign
For normal requests, a central notice admin will close the discussion. In the areas of advocacy, the stewards team may be called upon to assess consensus.
