Hello![edit]

If you post something in an RfC, or on a talk page, please put your signature there. I had to put the unsigned template after two of your recent Edits, if you could just use ~~~~ yourself, that would be helpful. Grüße vom Sänger ♫(Reden) 08:58, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits on Meta[edit]

Hello ThesenatorO5-2,

I have been monitoring your edits on Meta-Wiki for a while. It has caught my attention that almost none of your edits here seem to contribute to Meta in an useful way. What I mean with that is that all you edits have either been requests for permission, or have been RFC. Both of which have wasted time of a multitude of users needing to respond to you. In my personal opinion I find this disruptive to this community and that's something that needs to stop. If this behaviour continues I see no other way then to request a block for you. So please see this as a last formal warning. I really hope that's not something I need to do. Kind regards, Wiki13 (talk) 15:13, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Further to this, I've deleted two of the RfCs you made. Policy RfCs are generally made by people with significant wiki experience. Please focus on contributing to some content projects rather than what you're doing here. Thanks, – Ajraddatz (talk) 18:43, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Hello,

I see that you've chosen to ignore the advice and warnings made by Wiki13 and Ajraddatz in the above thread, what Risker wrote on your enwiki talk page (see w:Special:Permalink/972979291#Taking_things_a_little_more_slowly) which basically applies to your behaviour here, and not learn from the advice given to you by Andre Klapper and Legoktm on mediawiki.org (see mw:Topic:Vrweh427he0i530n).

You have continued to file unhelpful or RfCs such as Requests for comment/Modifying GS Permissions and Meta:Requests for comment/Amendment of the adminship policy; and previously Requests for comment/Amendment of the Steward policy, Requests for comment/Make checkuser and oversight logs public, Requests for comment/Allow all users to use 2FA, Requests for comment/LogChecker, etc.; after being told not to. Your edits on some templates and policy pages are also not helpful either when they suppress useful links or change the meaning of the text, and have to get reverted by somebody else (to name few examples).

I'm sorry, but I think that you have been warned enough, so I am blocking your account for one week for continued disruptive editting after being warned. If you wish to make useful contributions after the block expires you're very much welcome to. If you wish to contest this block, you can use the {{unblock}} template so a different administrator can review it.

Contest of block[edit]

Unblock request declined

This blocked user has had their unblock request reviewed by one or more administrators, who has/have reviewed and declined this request.
Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason.
Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason: I would like to contest this block for the reason of the age of the advices and warnings, which are months ago. Secondly, I being blocked from editing on phabricator is just because I have not learned enough and comment based on assumptions. I would stop making new-editor like edits and stop disruption. IP: 2408:8207:1949:cb90:405f:737a:8e11:78bc Block ID: #283847

Decline reason: It is a week. Think about it for the week about how you can be a productive editor and not get yourself blocked or warned.  — billinghurst sDrewth 12:46, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit conflict: Your contributions were not constructive from the start and you have had a long time to improve. There is no need to unlock you. During the time of the block, think about how and whether you want to work in the future.--𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 👤💬 12:48, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The unblock request above has untrue statements. Requests for comment/Modifying GS Permissions was created today, as was Meta:Requests for comment/Amendment of the adminship policy. My mentioning of your previously-filed RfCs are to show that you've continued to do edits that you were asked to avoid, and shows the pattern that serves as grounds for this block. Warnings at other wikis are relevant because they were sent to you for exactly the same behaviour that has led you to be blocked here. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 13:15, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also for the record, PythonSwarm did hide the warnings I am refering to in my block message (see permalink). Just in case we want to argue next that those warnings did not exist... —MarcoAurelio (talk) 13:18, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I also want to say something about one of the warnings which were made by me, but not months ago.... only about a month ago to be exact. Seeing these untrue statements being made (and hiding the warnings which were named in the block explanation also) I do not feel an unblock would be constructive in this case. --Wiki13 (talk) 13:35, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

{{unblock|Not actually appealing block but can someone add me to the huggle developer list I am participating in Huggle and ORES as I am giving up kiwix due to its dependencies.[[User:PythonSwarm|PythonSwarm]] ([[User talk:PythonSwarm#top|talk]]) 06:51, 31 August 2020 (UTC)}}

You can edit again on September 3rd. --𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 👤💬 07:57, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not evident that you are listening[edit]

Hi. I can see comment from one current steward, two former stewards, and a range of experienced users with advanced rights. There is silence from you that you hear and heed their messages. That does not bode well in my experience. To express some local idiom "you need to take a good hard look at yourself" otherwise I fear that you are going to be running into trouble.  — billinghurst sDrewth 15:38, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Turn on Huggle for Vietnamese Wikipedia (viwiki)[edit]

Hello, I would like to turn on this tool for viwiki. We opened a request here: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T260105 but there is still no reply. Can you help? Thank you. Alphama (talk) 07:11, 6 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Alphama: As you are a sysop you should get access by default anyway I am going to do my best. PythonSwarm (talk) 09:04, 6 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Blocking[edit]

I just saw that you created Requests for comment/Home Wiki. I don't believe that you have gotten the message that your block was meant to convey. You continue to ignore the advice given above regarding slowing down, both above and on other wikis. As a result, I've blocked you indefinitely. (cc @MarcoAurelio, Wiki13, Ajraddatz, Billinghurst, and WikiBayer: who have interacted above)

If you wish to contest this block, you can use the {{unblock}} template so a different administrator can review it.

Request reason: I opened that home wiki RfC because I do not know about the new home wiki policy and want to ask questions.

Decline reason: Your edits over the last few months show that you need to learn a lot more about Wikimedia and the projects in order to contribute here productively. Starting frivolous RfCs, making unwelcome changes to templates, and asking questions in inappropriate places are fine if they are one-off mistakes, but not if they are a pattern of disruptive behaviour. Most concerning of all is your unwillingness to accept advice or make any effort to change. I think an indefinite block is warranted here, though I'm sure both myself and the blocking admin would be happy to review this decision in the coming months or years if you can demonstrate a sustained track record of productive content-space contributions on other Wikimedia projects, and demonstrate a greater understanding of what the project space and Meta-Wiki are for. – Ajraddatz (talk) 05:09, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your actions are often unfathomable. What indicates to you that a RFC is the means to ask a general question? Where on any wiki is the means to a simple question? Where do you think that normal questions would normally be asked and answered. A clue, have a look at the Main Page.

At this time the best that I think that I would be willing to do is less the period of the block to give you time to learn at other wikis that you are not a lost case, which is where you are currently sitting as a person doing weird edits and bringing little evident benefit. Looking at Special:CentralAuth/PythonSwarm doesn't give me any assurance at all that you either listen or learn. I heartily suggest that you just edit in content namespaces, and keep well away from administrative namespaces on any wiki.  — billinghurst sDrewth 04:39, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of declined unblock notices while being blocked[edit]

Hello, I think let me make it clear here as you might find Cabayi revert unclear (I think that is clear enough, just make sure the point is made clearer), do not remove decline unblock notices while being blocked. It's written in red very clearly in the declined template. I actually don't care if users remove that or not (personally only) as we admins can still see in the history when dealing with unblocks (and we will carry out such due diligence), but given that your issue is that you don't read documents and get blocked, this is disturbing. I will keep the access of this page open for you to make further unblock notices (in several months / years after you understand the purpose of meta-wiki and wikimedia), but please do not abuse it. Further such removal of unblock notices will result in the rights to edit this page to be taken away and make unblock even harder.
