    • Library has confirmed the rooms we can use
    • Three keynoters identified and confirmed
    • Scholarships are closed - over 350 received!
    • Submissions until August 31. Please let your networks know about this last push.
    • Balboa Park Wiki Culture Crawl Day is shaping up! Need volunteers to help with registration and basic training https://wikiconference.org/wiki/2016/Wiki_Culture_Crawl
      • Publicity to larger GLAM community by BP Cultural Partnership, after September 14
      • Have more than 50 signups already, likely to exceed 100
      • May need a newbie track, need volunteers for heping with registration and training
    • Need more volunteers! Areas in particular: video, registration desk, outings coordination

      • Outings on Sunday morning, as conference only starts formally at noon - need a variety, from casual to advance-planning. Ideas: photo walks, morning brunch, Torrey Pines cliffs hike, Balboa Park hike and fig trees

New business[edit]

  • Proposal: create a standard cycle among officers and leaders of the affiliates. If one person can't attend, they are automatically replaced by the next person in the cycle. Each affiliate may have up to 2 people included in the cycle at any given time, and each affiliate chooses which of its people to include in the cycle. No one person may be included in the cycle for multiple affiliates.
