Also known as Wiki Advocates Philippines, Inc. (WAP) is a legally registered non-profit organization and a recognized Wikimedia affiliate based in the Philippines. Active as a community since 2020 and formally recognized as a user group in 2023, the user group is dedicated to bridging the information poverty gap and promoting free, open knowledge in the country. Wiki Advocates Philippines implements the Salbar Tataramon (Save the Language) program to document, preserve, and revitalize indigenous and regional languages of the Philippines on Wikimedia platforms:

Hatch-A-Wiki Project: Focuses on incubating and developing local language Wikimedia projects. WAP spearheaded the graduation of the Central Bikol Wiktionary from the incubator (which currently houses over 9,000 entries) and the Central Bikol Wikiquote, Tagalog Wikiquote.
