Steward requests (Checkuser)

This page allows you to request checkuser information on a wiki with no local checkusers. Make sure to specify the wiki on which you want the check to be performed. Note that many projects have local checkuser procedures, and checkuser information on these wikis should be requested locally; see also the Steward handbook.

Please use headers in the format "username@wiki", such as "billy@enwikisource".

some unacceptable usernames @ zhwp.

Recently, @ zhwp. ,many unacceptable usernames appeared, like w:zh:User:白毛一用是書身, w:zh:User:蒋家军大屠撒, w:zh:User:十字军大屠剎, w:zh:User:百無一用是舒身, w:zh:User:台灣雜重共非, w:zh:User:壞破我是不, w:zh:User:偉大的維權神父, w:zh:User:Alert("Kegns");, w:zh:User:百無一用是書身. They appeared during very short time, and the usernames cursed some of the zhwp sysop. Apparently the usernames were created deliberately. Could you please find out is there any user controlling these a/c?--1j1z2 17:08, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Maybe they are not the same persons, but technical evidence suggests otherwise. Behavioral evidence is something I don't have, since I don't understand Chinese. Because of the complex situation regarding open proxies that is going on on zhwiki, maybe another steward would like to take a look and try to get results on their own. --FiliP × 13:31, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm the admin of zh-wiki. Artually, for some users listed above, I think the behavioral evidence doesn't support these results. If birdy would check that again, I think the credibility and the accuracy of the result would be higher.--J.Wong 01:50, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Upon further inspection and consulting with Spacebirdy, I'd like to apologize and correct myself. In some way, it might be possible that all or some of those named users are connected (except Hkgalbert and NobisenACE, who are most definitely not connected), but given the circumstances (zhwiki target audience forced to use open proxies etc.), it is unlikely, up to some degree, that they are connected. Technical evidence can be tricky sometimes and in a clearer situation (e.g. ukwiki) it wouldn't be so ambiguous. All I can say at this point is that in the future I'll be more careful and appreciative of the technical situation in countries such as China and that I am sorry it has come to this, because I've done the check in good faith. --FiliP × 17:27, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

User:A04167 @ zhwp

Suspected that this user is a sockpuppet of a indefinitely blocked user User:Msnhinet8jps @ zhwp. Both users shared the same editing habit, which is creating stubs (short articles) of hurricanes in Pacific Ocean by copying paragraphs from main article 2008 Pacific Typhoon Season (as those hurricanes are defined insignificant in creating an individual article) and combining with incorrect information to make the article looks correct. User:Stefanomencarelli @ it.wikinews

Stefanomencarelli is a problematic user that was blocked indefinitely on it.wiki after seven segnalations for recidive personal attacks about users and community. Same manners on Italian Wikinews: also there he was blocked for same time. Next, he used IPs 80.104.204.90 and 80.104.203.52 to make insults again. The day after, user Sting makes some polemic and vandalic edits, like Stefanomencarelli's style.

Next time Alpha71, on it.Wiki, came back to attack a new candidate admin (link). On it.wiki he didn't make edits since March 2008. Some doubts for his style; this is similar Mencarelli's, too (I've forget: Alpha71 talks about Stefanomencarelli in that page, too).

Funnily enough, Leoman3000, that is talking above, is the same person who blocked sistematically me, S.M. in both wikis. Now he is here to defamate me almost i am a criminal? I am supposed to be a 'treath' to wiki? Last time i have a block, it was because i asked more work by admins in wikinews.it and what's the supposed 'journalist style' that i missed. This lead to my indefinite block. A very impartial guy, really. Now he has deleted my wikinews personal pages. So what? What's the point to do it? Delete an userpage, because i have used a SP? Where is written this?

Please check my account in Russian Wikipedia ru:User:Smartass2009 for intersections with ru:User:+Shipilov. Unfortunately this cannot be done through Russian checkusers who keep hinting that ru:User:+Shipilov is my account. None of them is trustworthy; independent confirmation is absolutely needed.
