단어 변경의 기준이 뭔지는 모르겠지만, 이런 이유라면, 위키미디어에서는 대한민국 법률용어를 그대로 사용해야 할 이유가 없고, 최소 7년 이상 기존 문구를 사용해 왔으므로 명시적인 총의 없이 독자적으로 문구를 변경하는 것은 적절치 않다는 말씀을 드립니다. 더불어 위키미디어 재단 법무팀의 검토를 받은 번역본이 사용하고 있는 용어는 "개인정보 보호 정책"임을 알려드립니다. — regards, Revi 11:31, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
