* I'd like to request a global bot flag to assist with reverts of vandalism, spam and other harmful content on wikis that cannot self-govern. --<small> とある白い猫</small> chi? 11:52, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
** comment: global bot flags should be requested at SRB#Global bot status requests. Mathonius (talk) 11:58, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
**You probably mean a global rollback flag? Jafeluv (talk) 12:07, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
*While the user seems somewhat active crosswiki in tagging pages for deletion (virtually all images tho), I was unable to find any significant countervandalism or anti-spam activity that would be aided by this tool. Simply there are no reverts on luxo at all. I would advise the user to use tools such as TWINKLE and hang out in #cvn-sw or join the SWMT before requesting this flag. Also, it is of some concern the expression "on wikis that cannot self-govern". While I doubt it is the candidate's intention to mean so, it is open to various intepretations. GR and GS are technical roles with no relations to the communities' ability to "self-govern" or not. <i><b><font color = "darkmagenta">Snowolf</font> <small><font color = "darkmagenta">How can I help?</font></small></b></i> 12:17, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

This page hosts requests for global permissions. To make a request, read the relevant policy (global rollback, global sysop) and make a request below. Explain why membership is needed for that group, and detail prior experience or qualifications.
This is not a vote and any active Wikimedia editor may participate in the discussion.
Global rollback requests generally require no less than 5 days of discussion, while global sysop discussions last no less than 2 weeks.
Cross-wiki requests
Meta-Wiki requests

Requests for global rollback permissions

Please be sure to follow the instructions below:
Your request might be rejected if you don't follow the instructions, and not doing so would reflect poorly on your suitability.
Please also review the Global rollback policy.
Instructions for making a request

Before requesting, make sure that: You have sufficient activity to meet the requirements to be allocated the global rollback flag

To make a request
Copy the template below to the bottom of this section and explain of why you need the access and why you're suitable.
Global rollback for
::Not ending before UTC

The request will be approved if consensus to do so exists after a period of consideration of no less than 5 days (with rare exceptions , no matter how obvious the result may seem). This is not a vote, and all input is welcome. Stewards will determine whether consensus exists; when doing so it is likely that the weight given to the input of those involved in cross-wiki work will be most influential.
