Wiki Explores Howrah - Phase II is a two day event to document some areas of district of Howrah, West Bengal, India. The objective of this event is to do photo-documentation of the various heritage structures in the said area most of which have less or no presence in Wikimedia commons.
Goal
[edit]- Photograph heritage sites along with important places near them in and around Amta, Bagnan and other areas of Howrah district
- Upload media for the heritage structures of Howrah district in Commons
- Create / Update articles about the heritage structures in Bengali and English Wikipedia
- Create / Update items in Wikidata

Itinerary
[edit]- 14th November 2022 (Monday) - Depart from Kolkata by a Hired Car and head towards Amta area of Howrah District and photo document heritage structures of surrounding areas.
- 15th November 2022 (Tuesday) - Depart from Kolkata by a Hired Car and head towards Bagnan area of Howrah District and photo document heritage structures of surrounding areas
Extra Day
[edit]- 17th January 2023 (Tuesday) - Depart from Howrah by local train for Amta. Cover remaining area of Amta in a local's vehicle. Return in the afternoon by local train to Howrah
