你确认你遇到的是全域封禁吗?你在commoms上也遇到过这种现象吗?如果没有的话,我建议你在中文维基本地申请IP封禁豁免。另外你需要用英语解释你遇到的情况。—Techyan(Talk) 06:01, 15 November 2019 (UTC)

Hello, I am a nomad worker around the world and I very often connect on the Net with unsecured connections, then I prefer to use a VPN, and I use Tor in some regions of the world. I need to be allowed to connect with my VPN and with Tor on Wikipedia. (I have sign up on fr.wikipedia with my VPN, and I want to participate on several wikis of the Wikimedia Foundation). Thanks, --Horzagger (talk) 03:36, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Horzagger: All your edits are only to this cite? Ruslik (talk) 09:32, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Ruslik0: Hello, sorry I'm new on Wikipedia, and I can't edit because all the IP addresses I'm probably going to use are blocked on Wikipedia. --Horzagger (talk) 15:59, 11 December 2019 (UTC)

Global IP block exempt for Partytemple
- Global user: Partytemple (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hello, my IP was recently blocked after it showed up as a proxy on the API Checker. I am not using a proxy, though. The IP address is from the router I use. The source for the report on the API Checker is IP Quality Score, but the actual website IPQualityScore.com also says my IP is not a proxy. All other sources on the API Checker says I'm not a proxy. Why is there this discrepancy? I've been using this IP since the creation of my account, and other admins have used CheckUser on me before without problem. Can someone review my IP again, and perhaps add it as an exemption? Thanks. Partytemple (talk) 05:29, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Partytemple: Is the block that you are affected by local or global? Ruslik (talk) 17:26, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Ruslik0: Local as in only in one wiki? I just checked if I could edit on the French wiki, and I could. I guess it's only the English wiki? Partytemple (talk) 17:32, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
- If it is a local block, you will need a local IP block exemption. Global exemption works only for global blocks. Ruslik (talk) 17:45, 18 December 2019 (UTC)

Global IP block exempt for CoconutLord80

<(Sorry for spelling errors) I use Cloudflare's DNS service 1.1.1.1 , as well as a VPN ocaionaly. I love editing Wikipedia and making it a better sight. My ISP's DNS is extremely slow so it is extremely hard for me to edit without 1.1.1.1. I need this exemption because otherwise, I will not be able to edit Wikipedia and make it better. I hope that you will understand my situation and help me. >, thanks, --~~~~
- You can use 1.1.1.1 DNS service without the VPN by selecting "1.1.1.1" and not "1.1.1.1 with WARP+" option in the settings of your 1.1.1.1 app. If your DNS is the only problem, you can simply use the 1.1.1.1 settings without the VPN. Is it sufficient or do you still need VPN after trying that options? — regards, Revi 01:11, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
- (Even though your mobile OS will report you have connected to "VPN server", for simple 1.1.1.1 settings, it only routes DNS traffic to Cloudflare, and all other traffic doesn't route Cloudflare. WARP+ routes all traffic through Cloudflare.) — regards, Revi 01:12, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
Global IP block exempt for Gereon K.
- Global user: Gereon K. (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
I often take Flixbusses for long distance travel. Often the IP of Flixbusses is blocked. I am admin on de.wikipedia and can give myself the IP block exempt user right there. But for each other project I have to request for it indivudally. I often edit Commons, Wikidata, nl.wikipedia, Meta and other projects as well. Thank you very much in advance. --Gereon K. (talk) 13:32, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Gereon K.: On de-wiki, as admin, you should have no problems with IP blocks, as this right is included in your adminrights, see en:Special:ListGroupRights (Bypass IP blocks, auto-blocks and range blocks (ipblock-exempt)) or de:Spezial:Gruppenrechte (Ausnahme von IP-Sperren, automatischen Sperren und Rangesperren (ipblock-exempt)). Of course this doesn't help on other projects. --Der-Wir-Ing ("DWI") talk 14:18, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Der-Wir-Ing: Strangely enough "IP-Sperren-Ausgenommener" is optional on de.wp, even for Admins: [1]. --Gereon K. (talk) 15:11, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Gereon K.: Kind of. ipblock-exempt right is included in the admin toolset but IPBE group has an extra right "torunlocked". which is why you can not edit via Tor unless you gain membership of that group. Masum Reza📞 09:10, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
