Please Help Me

Hello, I'm Aviram7 and I here to need a help, yesterday My phone format by me then I lost our Alternate account's gmail and password also but my Alternate @Aviram7 account currently protected from m:2FA, so, anyone can disable my m:2FA and also remove current gmail adress and add other gmail address on because I'm cannot edit on Wikipedia from alt account.Kind regards~~ αvírαm|(tαlk) 17:43, 2 October 2023 (UTC)

You should try to locate your scratch codes, you were warned about their importance. We can not use the checkuser tool for this type of request. If the rights are removed from my main account and given to this account, then I will not have any problem because after that ID is inactive for 2 years, the rights will be removed. Not done there is no way for us to know that this is a new account; it was just created 2 days ago. Just use it for a while, and when you have been around feel free to request additional flags. Ehem!...Hello Aviram7 (alt), sorry to hear about what happened to your account. What app were you using that was generating codes? I am guessing Authy. No? Either way, to recover your account even if you lose scratch codes is when you contact the Trust and Safety Team. This works ONLY if you still have access to your email that is still attached to your troubled account. So, if you lost access to your email too, then there is no way 2FA can be disabled.
Also note that this is not an onwiki management process, meaning it cannot be handled by Stewards or any sysop of such, locally. So do yourself a favor, email the Trust team as advised by Xaosflux...or carry on with your current alt account.
If you are going to use a different email to contact the team, which of course is unlikely to work, at least attach those screenshots you were taking during 2FA activation, and when you were inside your account logged in, though this is not guaranteed as there is little to no chance to prove its really you. Why is a Google listing of a Wiktionary page titled "Wikipedia"?

In the image here, you can see that a Google search is directing me to an English Wiktionary page. It has the Wiktionary icon, but for some reason it's titled "Wikipedia". Hello, I would like to apply a temporal right of sending mass message, I was the operator of Wikipedia Asian Month 2022. This year, I am still assisting the operation of Wikipedia Asian Month 2023. Request to help with the Wiki Indaba page

Hello dear admins,

We are organizing the Wiki Indaba 2023 conference in Morocco in November (less than a month). Its meta page is the following. We really need help from Meta admins in several aspects, if possible in a timely manner:

  1. First, is is possible to mark different outdates pages for translation so that they can be up to date in all languages?
  2. Our team has updated the template that we use for the menu (navigation), and we have other sections like "travel information", but they do not appear. We suspect that it is due to the point above. Can you please look into that?
  3. The countdown that we were using for the conference is stuck at 29 days. Maybe this is also due to the translation issue? But it is really strange and we do not know why it is stuck (the conference will happen in 21 days now, not 29).

@WikiIndaba first, you should likely change the main page to use the template, instead of a redirect to the template. Second, the template needs to be marked for translation, but it has errors likely caused by manual edits. Specifically you need to resolve duplicate collisions in translation tags 8 and 14, then have a translation admin mark it for translation. — xaosflux Talk 15:00, 12 October 2023 (UTC)

I don't think the problem is the collisions in tags, because those lines was already commented, anyway I did these changes and removed the duplicated tags. And I tried to change the main page to page to use the template directly but without any difference and after we did changes to the template one of the translation admins marked it to translation but the problem is still exist, and actually the other pages already pointing to the main template page.
So, this is the problem, and how I think it should be fixed:
- The problem: there is two pages for the template, the main one that we can edit it, and the English translation of it that we can't edit it, only the admins can. and the problem that this page is the one that the main page and other pages depend on.
- The solution solution I think we need: is we need an admin to take the edits we did on the main template and put it on the English version of the template. Or try to change the main page to be the only version without an English version (deleting the /en version) as other pages that didn't have any English translation. عبد الإلاه جلال (talk) 17:57, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
@Bonnjalal00 the problem is that the main version of the template could not be updated to its translations, because of the errors in the markup (I tried previously). Now that the markup is fixed, I was able to mark it as ready to translate and everything seems to have flowed down. It doesn't help a lot that your main event page is sourced in one language, while your templates for it are sourced in another, but that isn't a showstopper. (I've also remarked WikiIndaba conference 2023 as ready for translation). Hi Billinghurst, sure, the flag is less important here, I mean it doesn't make much of a difference when reverting malicious edits or vandalism. But then it is what it is. I am requesting for the patroller right so I can access the rollback tool to easily rollback vandal/LTA edits when I encounter it. I am already a rollbacker in enwiki, sysop in other projects and an active member of SWMT. I also would like to help patrolling Recent Changes. When other wikis are quiet, I find myself busy with Recent Changes here on Meta. Feel free to remove if used inappropriately, though would never abuse it. Thanks. I have no doubt that patroller permissions are in good hands with you. But I would usually expect to see a potential patroller being actually active in fighting vandalism on Meta. @Johannnes89,@Billinghurst I use Twinkle already, but since it takes few moments to load, rollback would be better to easily rollback. Also, would like to help patrolling Recent Changes, and of course would be more active then. I did not know that assigning Patroller rights would be such a hard thing given a candidate already has a history of fighting cross-wiki vandalism. The Patroller page says..."The patroller status can be given to trustworthy users upon request on the request page for help from a sysop or bureaucrat by an administrator ". I don't know if I am not trusted yet despite being a rollbacker in enwiki, sysop in multiple projects, etc. If you are not interested in assigning the rights, kindly close this request.
