• නව කළමණාකරුවන් සාමන්‍යෙන් වසරකට වරක් තෝරා ගනු ලබයි. කළමානාකරුවන් විකිමීඩියා විකි පදනම් කරගෙන තිබෙන්නා වූ ප්‍රජාවේ තාක්ෂණික කටයුතුද, පරිශීලකයන්ගේ ප්‍රවේශ වීමේ බලය වෙනස් කිරීම්, අයථා භාවිතා කරන අවස්ථා වලදී පරිශීලක තොරතුරු පරීක්ෂා කිරීම් වැනි කළමණාකරන ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ගනු ලබයි (වැඩි දුර තොරතුරු).

Stewards organize the elections themselves. The Board of Trustees decided in 2009 that they will abstain from confirming the result of new elections. Therefore, stewards create an election committee for every election consisting of volunteers for the following tasks:

• Closing the steward elections;
• Certifying the outcome of the elections, after all votes cast in all candidatures were verified for eligibility;
• Appointing the elected candidates;
• Closing the steward confirmations;
• After the steward confirmation, weighing consensus by community and stewards, and then decide whether to confirm them or not.
