[edit]- Welcome!
- Telegram topics... what do you think?
- First step: Prototype with some folks (could create a standalone test group)
- If that works out well, trying to integrate it in our general channels
- Discussion of difference between conversation threads and topics (which essentially act as tags on messages and optional filtered timeline for viewing)
Wikibase Suite
[edit]- We'd love to understand more about how you work with our Wikibase docker images to set up your own Wikibase instances. Particularly related to our "example" directory and how you use the various images we ship..
- Example directory
- Images
- Context: Inside the Wikibase release pipeline we provide an "example" directory containing the docker compose and configuration files required to set up a Wikibase docker container (and related services such as Wikidata Query Service).
- Questions:
- Are you using the "example" directory and if so how/why?
- How does your local environment factor into your workflow in testing out Wikibase?
- GR wants something that ultimately integrates fully on a source level, but can test and prototype with Wikibase.cloud and the Docker suite distribution (except that they are for AMD64 architecture, not ARM64, so had to roll own docker containers using raspberry Pi workflow)
- Are you using the docker images separately and if so how/why?
- wk wanted to use federated properties as a test place for African dancers (https://dancing-digital.wikibase.cloud) and originally tried suite but ran into issues with federated properties (can't mix local and remote properties in v1, v2 is on hold) and ended up on Wikibase.cloud
