WikiCamp 2023 เป็นกิจกรรมอบรมสัมมนาการเขียนและแก้ไขบทความวิกิพีเดีย มีเป้าหมายคือให้ผู้ที่สนใจทำความรู้จักกับวิกิพีเดีย เรียนรู้การเขียนและแก้ไขบทความ และร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกลุ่มอาสาสมัครวิกิมีเดียประเทศไทย โดยผู้ที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมจะได้รับเกียรติบัตรและของที่ระลึกจากวิกิมีเดียประเทศไทย

งานครั้งนี้ถือว่าเป็นการจัดอบรมการเขียน face-to-face แบบอิสระไม่จำกัดผู้เข้าร่วม/เปิดเป็นสาธารณะครั้งที่สามของกลุ่มอาสาสมัคร (สองครั้งแรกจัดในปี 2015 และ 2019 ในหัวข้อดูเพิ่ม, ไม่นับรวมการจัดอบรม online และการอบรมแบบจำกัดกลุ่มผู้เข้าร่วม จะเห็นว่าแต่ละครั้งจัดห่างกันถึงสี่ปี) ในครั้งนี้จัดโดยไม่มีหัวข้อเนื้อหาที่จำเพาะและไม่มีผู้สนับสนุนร่วมนอกจากกลุ่มอาสาสมัคร

ข้อกำหนดในการเข้าร่วม[edit]

นำโน้ตบุ๊กคอมพิวเตอร์มาเอง
สมัครบัญชีวิกิพีเดียก่อนเข้าร่วมงาน
หากมีหัวข้อที่ต้องการเขียนอยู่แล้ว สามารถนำสิ่งอ้างอิง เช่น หนังสือ บทความ รูปถ่าย หรือวีดีโอ มาได้
สามารถอ่านและเขียนภาษาอังกฤษหรือไทยและสามารถใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ได้

Too short! But within the limited time I leaned so much from the perspective of someone completely new to Wikipedia. I have changed my perspectives and now see its value in education.

Session is too short in comparison to similar workshop in the past. Having editors making up what to do on spot may be a bit difficult and organizers should notify attendees in advance to have them prepared what they are going to write (translation is a good option).

Photo Walk in Mahidol University[edit]

In collaboration with MUIC's Sigma Club, MUIC students are brought back for a photo walk in Sirirukhachart Botanical Garden. The aim of this activity is to introduce Wikimedia Commons to the students and give them the opportunities to contribute on the platform

Students' Post-Competition[edit]

There are two post-activities for MUIC students: Editathon and Photo Contest. Winning prizes are covered by MUIC's Sigma Club. The participants have until 11:59:59 GMT+7 of March 31, 2023 to contribute for the competitions.

Editathon[edit]

Participants must contribute over 2,000 bytes.
Participants will be ranked by the size of their constructive contributions.
The highest contributor will receive prize money from MUIC's Sigma Club.

Photo Contest[edit]

Take photos for the contest.
The photos must be from Mahidol University. Suggestions: faculty buildings, herbs and plants from Sirirukhachart Botanical Garden, and landmarks in Mahidol University.
Upload your photo on Wikimedia Commons' Uploading Wizard.
To nominate your photo in the contest, the participant must tag your photo in the category "Images from WikiCamp 2023 in Thailand".
One contributor of the best photo will receive prize money from MUIC's Sigma Club.
