This page is to request actions on a wiki without active administrators, to be performed by stewards or global sysops. Other than obvious speedy deletions, all requests should obtain consensus from the wiki community before being requested here and a link should be provided to that consensus. Such requests include deletions, big deletions, edit on protected pages, renaming of protected pages, etc.

To add a listing in a language that isn't already here, create a new section header:

==== Requests for [[xx:]] ====

To report vandalism issues, see vandalism reports.

Bot-reported speedy deletion requests

This section is for reports filed via Kimberley-nia Bot on the SWMT's IRC channel #cvn-sw (bot's irc nick is Dellieplagiat). They are submitted on this subpage. Please watch this page separately if you are a steward, a global sysop, or a local administrator.

It is possible to manually edit this list if you follow the bot's formatting. If you feel a request is inappropriate, please remove the lines containing that request entirely. (Leaving comments, modifying the header line, and striking out reports will confuse the bot.)

Example for the correct formatting:

* {{msd-link|ie.wikipedia|Talk:Europa}}
*: spam - IRC user DerHexer ~~~~~

Properly-filed requests that point to pages that have already been deleted or do not exist will be automatically removed by the bot. Note: It is unnecessary to remove requests for wikis where local admins "can handle it by themselves". If that is really so, the pages will surely be deleted within a small period of time and then be automatically removed from the list by the bot.

Manual requests

Please see tools:~erwin85/delete.php for a list of pages tagged with {{Delete}} and/or the local equivalent.

25 files without (right) licence on avwiki, 10 on lbewiki and 30 on ltgwiki

Status:    In progress

25 files are in av:Категория:Candidates for speedy deletion since 17 May 2012, all of them because of “dubious/wrong/no license” but the wiki has 0 sysops. --Geitost diskusjon 12:19, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I put a notice on the talk page of User:Seb az86556 who set the templates (sysop on nvwiki). --Geitost diskusjon 12:38, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

10 files are in lbe:Категория:Speedy deletion requests since 17 May, same as above, also 0 sysops. --Geitost diskusjon 13:31, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And 29 files are in ltg:Kategoreja:Candidates for speedy deletion since 17 May, same as above, also 0 sysops. In addition one file there has been tagged with the delete template because of spam on 26 May, the link goes to a not existing user and there’s no permission. Can IP users upload files on small wikis? --Geitost diskusjon 13:31, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This file is stored on Wikimedia Commons and was uploaded by the local user there. The local file page was created by the IP, which is possible. Vogone talk 13:31, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yikes, this has gone unanswered for a while. I'll start going through them - unfortunately, nobody removed the links to those files, so I'll need to stop being lazy and do it myself. IPs cannot upload files, so not sure what caused that. Ajraddatz (Talk) 12:05, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
These suspected copyvios are still sitting here... This, that and the other (talk) 02:19, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I had a quick look at those images at avWP, and most look to be fair use, just insufficiently tagged. I would think that initially it would be more useful to contact the community and to assist them to get their images compliant, and to lift the quality of their copyright tagging. Seems a more efficient use of effort. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:34, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The problem with fair use is that it is an US-American right, not a Russian. Vogone talk 11:16, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Progress report? -- MarcoAurelio (talk) 15:26, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Scots Wikipedia

Status:    In progress

There are quite a few "speedy" deletion requests at sco:Category:Candidates for speedy deletion that need reviewing, and a decision made as to whether to delete them. Some have been there over 6 months, so I do not think the admins on this wiki are very active. Many are empty categories. Some are an unreferenced collection of articles on small bookshops in Wigtown, Scotland, created in 2005. 130.88.141.34 14:50, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted those I was comfortable with deleting, I'll leave the rest for someone else to delete if they wish. -Mh7kJ (talk) 14:54, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Small Wikipedias

Status:    In progress

I'm guessing this is the place to report these, as small wikis tend not to have active admins. I've been going through the interwiki links of small Wikipedias and adding them to on Wikidata. In the check I also found these:

I believe they should be deleted for the stated reasons. Thanks Delsion23 (talk) 22:36, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted all except ik:Iamiñupiaq.com which I leave for User:PiRSquared17 (ping!) --MF-W 22:50, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Duplication request

Hi. I was told in the Spanish Wikipedia that only you can duplicate (import) an article. Well, they told me that they could, but only from other Wikis. So I request you to import m:w:es:Discusión:Lobo hombre en París (canción de The Mills) to m:w:es:Lobo hombre en París so that both articles will be the same with the same history.
The reason is because It is an article about a song but many people have written there about other song called the same, so we want to separate them without lose the history.
Thanks a lot. Albertojuanse (talk) 14:36, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry but I don't understand the request. This wouldn't be an import as both pages are on the same project, eswiki. What you seem to be asking for is a discussion page to be "merged" with an article (an article that has been deleted). This can be done by any administrator on the project and doesn't need a Steward. If this isn't what you are asking, could you explain further? QuiteUnusual (talk) 14:49, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, sorry. What I want is to duplicate an article, m:w:es:Discusión:Lobo hombre en París (canción de The Mills) to m:w:es:Lobo hombre en París, so that both articles will be the same with the same history.
A Spanish sysop told me that this is called 'import', and that you could 'import' an article from esWiki to esWiki. I think. What we need is to duplicate an article, the same in both articles. Thanks. Albertojuanse (talk) 14:53, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
All right, mi fault. We want to duplicate m:w:es:Lobo hombre en París (canción de The Mills) to m:w:es:Lobo hombre en París, not the talk page. Sorry. Albertojuanse (talk) 14:56, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
@QU: He wants the article to be duplicated by XML export and reimport. --MF-W 14:57, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see. Well, you are our expert new wiki importer; I've only dared import to my own wiki! QuiteUnusual (talk) 15:15, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Mpf, I guess that's true! --MF-W 15:50, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@Albertojuanse: Is it planned to "clean up" the history of the duplicated page (by an admin)? --MF-W 15:50, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so. The point is that we want to keep both histories because of license CC-BY-SA issues. Albertojuanse (talk) 16:00, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
