Requests for global rollback permissions

Please be sure to follow the instructions below:
Your request might be rejected if you don't follow the instructions, and not doing so would reflect poorly on your suitability.
Please also review the Global rollback policy.
Instructions for making a request

Before requesting, make sure that: You have sufficient activity to meet the requirements to be allocated the global rollback flag

To make a request
Copy the template below to the bottom of this section and explain of why you need the access and why you're suitable.
=== Global rollback for {{subst:u|{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}}} ===
{{sr-request
 |status    = <!-- don't change this line -->
 |domain    = global <!-- don't change this line -->
 |user name = {{subst:REVISIONUSER}} <!-- don't change this line unless you're nominating another user -->
}}
::''Not ending before {{subst:#time:j F Y H:i|+5 days}} UTC''

The request will be approved if consensus to do so exists after a period of consideration of no less than 5 days (with rare exceptions , no matter how obvious the result may seem). This is not a vote, and all input is welcome. Stewards will determine whether consensus exists; when doing so it is likely that the weight given to the input of those involved in cross-wiki work will be most influential.

Working on the spam blacklist, and as I am working through the lists, worthwhile if I just do some of the cleanup as I go, and making that as easy as possible. billinghurst sDrewth 12:46, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Global rollback for Frigotoni

Not to be closed before 13:37, 4 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi everybody. As I'm active on #cvn-swconnect almost every day (maybe even more than the last time), I would ask for Global Rollback again. First, I have already rollback privileges on pt.wikipedia (contribs), es.wikipedia (contribs), en.wikipedia (contribs), simple.wikipedia (contribs) and on others small projects (e.g. it.wiktionary, it.wikibooks and simple.wiktionary).
Anyway now, I am a rollbacker (verify - contribs) on my Home Wiki, it.wikipedia (compared to the last time), with more 12.000 edits of patrolling; I believe that I’m active and experienced enough. Perhaps rollback is no big deal, but I would use it only in obvious vandalism cases (on the other hand I always do it also in local projects, on .it as well as .en, .es, .pt ecc.). I’m used to undoing vandalism/spam link and reporting vandalisms here too. Therefore, I want to do just another attempt now, because I think that it could help me. If it helps me on projects where I have already the tool, maybe it can help me also in small projects by means of SWMT, respecting policies. Anyhow, I’ll respect community’s decision. Yours sincerely,--Frigotoni ...i'm here; 13:37, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

  • After quickly looking through your contributions, a slight error caught my eye. This edit was fine; if you translate it, die means the, and is better for the article that not having it there. There are a few examples of these through your global contribs, but I'm not going to oppose by it. I would recommend that you either use Google Chrome and its auto-translation feature, or the Google toolbar for another browser that can translate pages for you. That will help reduce those small, but understandable mistakes. That being said, support. Ajraddatz (Talk) 14:50, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    Derp on my part, you correctly fixed that case of vandalism. No concerns, and thanks for your work :-) Ajraddatz (Talk) 14:52, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sincerly, I didn't use Google Translate in that case, but I was sure that if it wasn't a vandalism, then it would be a test. So I was sure in that case.--Frigotoni ...i'm here; 15:09, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Global sysop for Tegel

Not to be closed before 19:57, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi. I'm here today because I would like to apply for Global Sysop access. Since vandal fighting and monitoring small wikis is my main contribution I think that the tool would be useful both to me and other users that keeps an eye on the small wikis. I can often be found on cvn-sw and wikimedia-stewards. I have been part of the Small Wiki Monitoring Team for 9 month and Global Rollback for 4 month. My admin experience is mainly from sv.wiki where I have been an admin for almost 2.5 years, bureaucrat for one year and admin for 2 month here on Meta. Statistics from sv.wiki during my time as Administrator. I have read thru the Global Sysop policy so i knew when I could ask a GS for help so I know the scope and the limitations of the roll. And now when the questions start comming on "why don't you apply for GS?" I thought it might be a good idea to do so. -- Tegel (Talk) 19:57, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New wiki importer for MF-Warburg

Hi, I'm a sysop and bureaucrat on Incubator and as such, regularly participate in importing test projects from Incubator (sometimes also Beta Wikiversity and Old Wikisource) to new wikis. You can admire the list of these my misdeeds here. Recently, when the new wiki importer group was still discussed but already created for testing purposes, I requested it in order to import Northern Sotho Wikipedia, that's why I already/still have this flag, in case you wonder. Regards, --MF-W 22:53, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New wiki importer for SPQRobin

(So I can compete with MF-Warburg :D ) I am an admin/bureaucrat on Incubator as well, and I have imported various times. As this is our new way of dealing with import rights, I obviously need them for future import tasks. Thanks, SPQRobin (talk) 13:17, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
