This page is for requesting that a specific administrative action (such as page deletion) be performed by a steward or global sysop on a Wikimedia wiki having no active administrators. (If the wiki does have active administrators, file the request with one of them.) If the wiki has an active editor community, any potentially controversial action (deletion of actual content, edit to a protected page, renaming of a protected page, etc.) should receive consensus from the wiki community before being requested here, and a link should be provided to that consensus in the request.

To add a new request, create a new section header at the bottom of the page (just above the categories) of the form:

Then describe your request more fully below that. It is helpful if you can provide a link to the wiki (or the specific page on the wiki) in question, either in the header or in the body of your request.

Bot-reported speedy deletion requests

This section is for reports filed via Kimberley-nia Bot on the SWMT's IRC channel #cvn-sw (bot's irc nick is Dellieplagiat). They are submitted on this subpage. Please watch this page separately if you are a steward, a global sysop, or a local administrator.

It is possible to manually edit this list if you follow the bot's formatting. If you feel a request is inappropriate, please remove the lines containing that request entirely. (Leaving comments, modifying the header line, and striking out reports will confuse the bot.)

Example for the correct formatting:

Properly-filed requests that point to pages that have already been deleted or do not exist will be automatically removed by the bot. Note: It is unnecessary to remove requests for wikis where local admins "can handle it by themselves". If that is really so, the pages will surely be deleted within a small period of time and then be automatically removed from the list by the bot.

Yet another deletion request

Please delete en:List of Total Drama characters per this articles for deletion discussion; it cannot be deleted by regular sysops because it has over 26,000 edits. Graham87 (talk) 03:03, 18 May 2014 (UTC)

Would redirecting it to the Total Drama page be a viable option? Best practice suggests that pages with that many revisions should only be deleted if absolutely necessary, so I'm uncomfortable with deleting it if another option is available. Ajraddatz (talk) 03:18, 18 May 2014 (UTC)

@Ajraddatz: Consensus was to delete. The page is so laden with fancruft, so I imagine that if it were redirected, it'd have to be protected lest the fanboys revert the redirect. TenPoundHammer (talk) 08:51, 18 May 2014 (UTC)

Histmerg on enwiki

I cannot, as an admin, complete this merge on enwiki because the target page has over 5,000 revisions. It must be done by a Steward.

w:The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde's page history contains a copy/paste move, violating copyright, and must be merged back to where from whence it came. w:The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde needs moved to w:Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, delete the target page, move the talk page as well, leave no redirects. Then w:Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde needs deleted, restore all revisions. I'll fix relevant revisions from there. Thanks! Keegan (talk) 04:37, 22 May 2014 (UTC)

Left menu on Asturian Wiktionary

Hello. I talk to you to request if someone can fix the left menu on the Asturian wiktionaty. Now, the subjects "community portal" and "Current events/Announcements" don't appear anymore there. Speedy-delete requests waiting for a year

On Cassubian Wiktionary there are three pages marked with "ek" template (local equivalent of template:Delete) since March 2013. List: csb:wikt:Kategòrëjô:ek (except "Szablóna:ek", which is the template itself). Please remove them. Olaf (talk) 06:30, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

Delete pages created by SPAMBOT

Please delete the following pages created by a spambot: ja:q:利用者:Tuckerdais & ja:q:Buy Online: Be Intelligent And Protected (at Japanese Wikiquote) de:q:Benutzer:Tuckerdais & de:q:These credit cards may be used anyplace which a normal charge card can be used (German Wikiquote). Lsjbot : plants on warwiki

Status:    Not done

Lsjbot has long been creating lots of marginal Wikipedia-pages based on the Catalogue of Life. Recently it has started on warwiki to produce pages on plants (so planning some 300 000 pages each on ceb-wiki, sv-wiki and warwiki). Unfortunately, it has chosen to adopt a format for scientific plant names that exists only in the work of Lsjbot, and that has no meaning in the outside world.

        I have addressed Lsj on the matter, but he does not care. Can somebody block Lsjbot until such a time as Lsj is prepared to do the normal thing, otherwise Wikimedia will end up with a million nonsensical pages. I do not feel I am overasking a bot-owner to be at least willing (and able) to perform a literal copy-and-paste. - Brya (talk) 16:40, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

Could someone check out this recent IP-editor activity on the (adminless) Oromo Wiktionary and respond appropriately? By way of explanation, see my comment on the editor's talk page, which has not garnered a reply (possibly because their IP address has changed). - dcljr (talk) 07:45, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
