This page hosts requests for global permissions. To make a request, read the relevant policy (global rollback, global sysop, global rename, …) and make a request below. Explain why membership is needed for that group, and detail prior experience or qualifications.
This is not a vote and any active Wikimedia editor may participate in the discussion.
Global rollback and global interface editor requests require no fewer than 5 days of discussion while abuse filter helper and maintainer requests require no fewer than 7 days. Global renamer and global sysop requests require no fewer than 2 weeks of discussion. For requests that are unlikely to pass under any circumstances, they may be closed by a steward without further discussion (after a reasonable amount of input).
Please note that Global rollbackers discussions are not votes. Comments must present specific points in favor of or against a user's approval.
Instructions for making a request
Before requesting, make sure that:
You have sufficient activity to meet the requirements to be allocated the global rollback flag
To make a request
Copy the template below to the bottom of this section and explain of why you need the access and why you're suitable.
=== Global rollback for {{subst:u|{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}}} ===
{{sr-request
|status = <!-- don't change this line -->
|domain = global <!-- don't change this line -->
|user name = {{subst:REVISIONUSER}} <!-- don't change this line unless you're nominating another user -->
}}
::''Not ending before {{subst:#time:j F Y H:i|+5 days}} UTC''
The request will be approved if consensus to do so exists after a period of consideration of no less than 5 days (with rare exceptions, no matter how obvious the result may seem). This is not a vote, and all input is welcome. Stewards will determine whether consensus exists; when doing so it is likely that the weight given to the input of those involved in cross-wiki work will be most influential.
Hello. For long time I disguise myself as a global rollbacker, but this time I want it to be true since the right can give me a more convenient experience especially when fighting against vandalism under poor network, and access to some handy tools like Huggle, mass rollback and SWViewer. Currently I serve as admin on zhwiki and zhwikibooks (together with zhwikiversity but there are few things to do till now) and have dealt with a lot of vandalism, some of which appear cross-wiki, for ~2 years. I also monitor small wikis via IRC & Telegram groups and have some experience in reverting vandalism/edit tests there. From those work, I feel that I have the capability to judge whether I shall confidently click the button to revert an edit or not even if I don't speak that language, so I hereby post this request to apply for the global rollback permission. Thank you! --WhitePhosphorus (talk) 10:41, 28 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support Of course! Admin experience on a large wiki, frequently is in a position to use global rollback, and is trustworthy. I'm strongly in support. Thank you for volunteering, Vermont (talk) 03:17, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support I saw your edits and don't found problems. Thanks for volunteering (now like a truly global rollbacker :D ) Rafael(stanglavine) msg16:20, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stewards will determine whether consensus exists; when doing so it is likely that the weight given to the input of those involved in cross-wiki work will be most influential. Please note: Since 2019 all global sysops are required to have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled.
Your request might be rejected if you don't follow the instructions. Please review Global IP block exemption. You may request Global IP block exemption via stewardswikimedia.org if you can not edit this page.
Please note: Global IP block exemption does NOT make one immune to locally-created blocks of any sort, only global blocks.
If you want to edit the Chinese Wikipedia, usually global IP block exemptions will not help you. Please see this instruction to request a local IP block exemption.

The request will be approved if there is demonstrated need for the permission, such as bypassing a global block from someone who is not the intended target.
Hi,
I'm mostly active on Kurdish wikis. Other wikis are mostly fine but I can't access Wikipedia without VPN or proxies since I live in Turkey and as you probably already know it is banned here. I already got exempts on my local wikis. But since I got blocked globally I can't upload new media to commons and connect my articles via interwiki. And it is getting more and more frustrating not being able to do so as an eager newcomer(ish) wikian. Hoping you to grant a global exempt for all wikis as soon as possible, Thank you. --Pispor (talk) 15:20, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This user was a good-faith contributor to the Incubator Wikipedia in the N'Ko language. The Wikipedia is now created, but he cannot contribute because he has to connect through a VPN the range of which is blocked as an open proxy. He asked me to post this request. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 06:00, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I've been an occasional contributor for many years on Wikipedia, but lately owing to my use of VPNs, I have found myself in blocked IP ranges. I kindly request that I be made exempt from these restrictions. I invite you to view my very benign and helpful edits, thanks, --Daclements (talk) 19:39, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello everyone, I'm Track13. I'm mostly active on Russian Wikipedia, where I'm an active sysop and bureaucrat. There is no significant delay on ru:ВП:ПУЗ queue now, however, the majority of requests are handled by one renamer and I'd be happy to help. Also, I will be able to handle local requests on Belarusian wikis (be and be-tarask) if local communities want that. I've reviewed and understood the Global rename policy. Thank you for your time and comments. Track130_o15:15, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support. Freshly elected bureaucrat on ru-wiki where we currently have only three global renamers, not all of them being continuously active. The help from Track13 would be highly appreciated. — Adavyd (talk) 23:14, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support - Thought I already supported; seems I didn't save the edit. I had a few sentences that I thought were quite nice, so just pretend there's a few nice sentences here. I see no reason why Track13 with global rename permissions would be problematic, and many reasons why it'd be beneficial. Thanks for volunteering, Vermont (talk) 02:42, 21 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
