This page hosts requests for global permissions. To make a request, read the relevant policy (global rollback , global sysop , global rename , …) and make a request below. Explain why membership is needed for that group, and detail prior experience or qualifications.

This is not a vote and any active Wikimedia editor may participate in the discussion.

Global rollback and global interface editor requests require no fewer than 5 days of discussion while abuse filter helper and maintainer requests require no fewer than 7 days. Global renamer and global sysop requests require no fewer than 2 weeks of discussion. For requests that are unlikely to pass under any circumstances, they may be closed by a steward without further discussion (after a reasonable amount of input).

Requests for global rollback permissions

Please be sure to follow the instructions below:
Your request might be rejected if you don't follow the instructions, and not doing so would reflect poorly on your suitability.
Please also review the Global rollback policy.
Instructions for making a request

Before requesting, make sure that: You have sufficient activity to meet the requirements to be allocated the global rollback flag

To make a request
Copy the template below to the bottom of this section and explain of why you need the access and why you're suitable.
=== Global rollback for {{subst:u|{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}}} ===
{{sr-request
 |status    = <!-- don't change this line -->
 |domain    = global <!-- don't change this line -->
 |user name = {{subst:REVISIONUSER}} <!-- don't change this line unless you're nominating another user -->
}}
::''Not ending before {{subst:#time:j F Y H:i|+5 days}} UTC''

The request will be approved if consensus to do so exists after a period of consideration of no less than 5 days (with rare exceptions , no matter how obvious the result may seem). This is not a vote, and all input is welcome. Stewards will determine whether consensus exists; when doing so it is likely that the weight given to the input of those involved in cross-wiki work will be most influential.

Global rollback for Zabe

Not ending before 3 April 2021 21:21 UTC

Hey, I am active in the SWMT for some time now and I have made a few hundred actions in the course of vandalism fighting. Global rollback permissions would help me a lot doing crosswiki vandalism fighting.

Please note that I was renamed from ZabeMath to Zabe a few days ago.

Regards --Zabe (talk) 21:21, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have editor permissions in dewiki, which contains rollback permissions. --Zabe (talk) 11:30, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, then I Support Support this request. Thanks for volunteering :) -BRP ever 11:32, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Weak support Active in counter vandalism activities but only since February, so I am a bit hesitant to fully support but they seems a good candidate. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 13:32, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Oppose for now. I just don't see enough experience and I find GR to be one of the more sensitive global permissions since it also includes autopatrolled everywhere, but I also find it problematic that they don't appear to have rollbacker on any projects. Praxidicae (talk) 13:48, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I was just made aware that it's bundled on dewiki, but my original points still stand, as I don't see sufficient experience with rollback in general. Praxidicae (talk) 13:52, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Global rollback for Jan Myšák

Not ending before 7 April 2021 13:33 UTC

Hi, this is my second request for GR rights, three months after my previous one was deemed premature. I am an active member of the SWMT and revert cross-wiki vandalism using SWViewer. I patrol on larger projects too, namely cswiki (sysop), wikidata (rollbacker) and enwiki (Twinkle user).

Best, --Jan Myšák (talk) 13:33, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Support Support Clearly learned from the feedback of the first request, which is nice to see. I have seen many examples of his anti-vandalism efforts at my homewikis. The edit matrix is also OK to me, and I think he is good to go this time. Leaderboard (talk) 15:15, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I would gladly Support Support Jan Myšák, who has been a very helpful wikimedian looking after various wikis, reverting spam or requesting deletion of spam.

Global rollback for Mtarch11

Not ending before 8 April 2021 17:45 UTC

Hi, I'm active on many projects to combat vandalism. I am an active member of SWMT. This right could be very useful to me. Thanks,

Regards --Mtarch11 (talk) 17:44, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Global IP block exempt for SakuragawaSara

由于我生活在中华人民共和国内地,不得不使用代理服务器或VPN.需要申请全域豁免。Because I live in the mainland of People's Republic of China, I have to use a proxy server or VPN. I need to apply for a global exemption/permission. I made contribution to wikimedia common for the images and most frequently is this

Global IP block exempt for Octahedron80

I live in Thailand but I got globally blocked (at the moment) with the reason "Open proxy" in the IP range 125.25.234.0/24 created by a steward. I do not use any open proxy in common practice. (But I still have to use VPN to work from home.) My IP is leased by ISP that matches the blocking range and it is not able to change on my own. So I hereby request the global IP block exempt for the account Octahedron80. I am also an administrator at Thai Wiktionary and I often contribute on other wikis. (This request is posted via mobile network instead.) --Octahedron80 (talk) 01:06, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Global IP block exempt for MarioJump83

I live in Indonesia and my IP range can be detected as an open proxy in some wikis. I also use HolaVPN frequently, so if I want to edit from VPN I need this user right. Please note that I won't abuse this user right. Regarding myself, I am a pending changes reviewer, AfC reviewer and an autopatroller on enwiki. MarioJump83! 13:49, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

2FA Tester for MarioJump83

I have been using 2FA in nearly every website that has it now, so I am requesting that I want to use 2FA for my Wikimedia accounts. I want to have my account to be secure from any possible attempts to compromise my account, and I have read the help page about how to use two-factor authentication, so I'm going to be careful regarding my usage with 2FA. Thanks, --MarioJump83! 13:52, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
