彼女のことば（SheSaid）というキャンペーンは、ウィキは女性が好き＝WLW というイニシアティブの一環としてウィキ・イン・アフリカ（Wiki In Africa）が主催しています。これはウィキクォートという姉妹プロジェクトを舞台に、女性のことばを見える化する趣旨のもと実施します。このキャンペーンを通じてWLW のイニシアティブは影響力のある女性について、ウィキクォートで既存の項目を改めたり新しく項目を立てたりして、より包摂性を高め多様性豊かに女性の声と考え方を表現しようと呼びかけます。

ウィキクォートで女性の言葉を伝える#SheSaid キャンペーンは実に印象深い成果を上げており、これまで3回実施して22の個別の言語版に新たに立項もしくは改版した記事は27,109件にのぼります。#SheSaid 彼女のことばキャンペーンは目をみはる成果を上げており、これはウィキ・ラブ女性（Wiki Loves Women）の熱心な取り組みおよびさまざまなコミュニティが参加して女性リーダーの認知度を高め、その活躍を称えた成果の反映です。

開催回ごとに新規立項もしくは改版された記事の数は伸びており、同キャンパーの着実な持続性を示しています。世界の投稿者にジェンダーには表現ならびに承認に格差があるという認識が広がり参加しようとする意欲の高まりの指標と見なすことができます。

このような成功を認め、まだまだできることはあるという認識から、2025年も6回目の #SheSaid キャンペーンを行う計画であり、期間は本年9月1日から同12月31日まで

なぜ SheSaid キャンペーン？

ウィキクオートの項目にあるジェンダーの表現をより均等に

現状を表現する興味深い数値をご紹介します。

英語版ウィキクオートのメインページ（2020年10月6日付）を開いてSelected people 節を見ると、秀逸な記事は男性29名に対して女性はわずか4名でした（右の画面キャプチャをご参照ください）
ウィキペディアのフランス語版もしくは英語版には、女性260名の秀逸な記事が載っているところ…… ウィキクオートのフランス語版では同じ分類で0件でした。
英語版ウィキペディアは秀逸な記事がある女性は162件、同じ言語版のウィキクオートは0件でした。
フランス語版ウィキクオートに主題が掲載された777 件が女性、3504 件が男性でした。

2024年9月時点でフランス語版ウィキクオートには、 [$url12 男性の3879項目]に対して[$url5 女性の言葉は1450項目]。

確かに、女性なら誰でもウィキクオートに載せる価値のある感銘を与えることば を発するとは限りません。また著名性は言語版によって違いがある点もご留意ください。

Women ?

The primary and most important goal of the drive is to collect quotes « from women ». Occasionally, the quotes may be « about women » or they may be in tight relation with female gender topics; that’s ok but not the primary goal.

"Woman" must be understood as "person self-identified as a woman". Some participants do sometimes add quotes from non-binary people; that’s ok but not the primary goal.

波及効果

ウィキクオート（Wikiquote）を舞台に始まった#SheSaid キャンペーンは2020年10月以来、目を見張る成果をあげてきました。7つの言語版から始まり、2021年1月5日時点で新規立項もしくは改版された記事は合計867件、また投稿者の大半は初めて寄稿しています。

さらに成功が進展した第2回開催は、新規立項1500件増です。

勢いが最もあった言語版を見ると、イタリア語版は836項目を新規立項もしくは改版、タガログ語版は同じく308項目増。

第3回の開催となる2022年は10月1日から12月31日を会期とし、新規立項もしくは他のプロジェクトからの移入が4158件、改版した項目は1918件という実績をあげました。

新規立項・移入の項目数ランキング1位はイタリア語版ウィキクオートの1212項目、2位はタガログ語版の同1514項目、英語版の1003 項目でした。

In 2023, the campaign resulted in +5 555 articles created or imported and +1 766 articles improved.

English tool the first place with 1950 articles created, 190 improved articles and Tagalog took the second place ith 642 articles created, 560 improved articles.

In 2024, the 5th edition resulted in 11,029 new or improved articles (10,091 new and 938 improved) across 19 languages!

Setswana emerged as the top contributor with 3,039 new or improved articles. Hausa secured second place with 1,921 new or improved articles, while English took the third place with 1,592 new or improved articles and Igbo had the fourth place with 1436 new or improved articles.
