 | The Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees is conducting a community conversation to discuss the new affiliate recognitions and expectations guidelines. Affcom will process all applications that were submitted to this pipeline by and before February 7, 2024. All new applications will be put on hold until the conclusion of the conversations and adoption of the new recognition guidelines. You are encouraged to participate in these conversations to help shape the new recognition guidelines to better serve the affiliate community |

Wikimedia User group Applications Pipeline

These groups have received initial feedback and next steps as to how they can meet the user group criteria in order to advance to committee review.

These groups have been officially approved by the Affiliations Committee and have been notified, but have not yet submitted their signatures.

These groups' applications for Wikimedia User Group recognition have expired due to inability to meet all criteria or extended non-response by the applicants.
Newly Recognized Wikimedia User Group (4 groups)
These groups have completed the application process and have been officially recognized by the Affiliations Committee as Wikimedia Community User Groups! This list shows groups that were recognised within the last six months from the current date.
