Global blocks don't affect Meta-Wiki, so if your IP address is blocked, you can still appeal here. IP addresses that cause disruption on Meta should be reported at Meta:Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat instead of here so that they can be blocked locally.
Please describe the kind of cross wiki abusive activity you see from the IP. Saying an IP is a long term abuser is not helpful, but saying "IP vandalizes at ban.wikipedia, no.wikipedia and vi.wikipedia" is. This is especially important for range blocks. If you do not provide enough details, your request might be declined.

There is astonishingly little vandalism from these two IPs, so I whitelisted them on de.wp, which is by far the most affected wiki here, we can live with 6 account creations a day. Global block for 208.114.128.0/18 (Xplornet Communications Inc.) for LTA

Status:    In progress

First discovered on SimpleWiki, these IP addresses vandalize for years on many wikis (simple, en, es, fr for example). They are rife especially in pages difficult to control, color pages for example (w:simple:List of colors, w:fr:Liste de noms de couleur or w:es:Anexo:Colores and as well as all internal links contained therein). For this difficulty, it is necessary to block this IP range indefinitely. (Woodstock, New-Brunswick, Canada, Stalk toy: locally blocked 6 times). Thank you in advance. Global unblock for 195.143.129.132

Status:    On hold

This is one of the IP addresses for Wellcome - I'm the Wikimedian here and the IP block is problematic for our activities, so could it please be lifted? I had a look at the Global User Contribs and I can see that there have been some irritating edits (moving countries up lists, putting thumbnail images in) but they don't seem to be large-scale. Thanks @Vituzzu: but if when I do training I need the people I train to be able to edit - this block would still affect them wouldn't it? I'm not personally able to add them to a "safe" exempt list? Please can the block be lifted? I do really appreciate the work copyvios create - if I check the GUC for our IP address every morning when I get to work and revert bad edits would that help with your burden and help to lift the block? Global lock for Spambot LTA Black magic specialist socks

Socks of the serial spambot LTA "Black magic specialist". This LTA has a long history of prolific cross-wiki socking and spamming. Please Globally Lock these accounts, and also check the first 3 accounts (the newest ones) for sleepers. Stewards should consider adding newer naming patterns to Account Creation filters (at the very least, to flag new accounts with such names). Some of these are dead old (many accounts 2-4 years old, and single-wiki single edit), so why the recommendation to lock them? Is there evidence that the vandal operates xwiki with the same accounts? My initial observations say not. I cannot speak for the current philosophy of stewards to bright and shiny lockdown, however, these seems to be all work for no identified benefit. It would seem that we may be better to focus on a prevention approach rather than chasing our tails on managed issues. If it is long term abuse, you are better informing the community at Vandalism reports so we can improve our spam filters, and work with enWP and hiWP where the bulk of the abuse is taking place  — billinghurst sDrewth 01:17, 26 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Global lock for cross-wiki LTA ROXELANA22 socks

Lock all:

All obvious sleeper accounts of the cross-wiki LTA vandal ROXELANA22/AUC COLOMBIA. Each of these socks were blocked for abusive behavior that matches this LTA's MO (behavioral pattern) and/or have username patterns that have been used only by this vandal. This LTA has been persistently vandalizing cross-wiki, trolling, attacking other users, and posting graphic/obscene content (including racist material) across numerous Wikimedia Projects for 13 years now. Ever since 2017, he has also been logging back in to his older accounts (including accounts several years old), and "respawning" them in other Wikimedia sites where the account has not been locally blocked, in order to continue cross-wiki vandalism with every single sock that he has. Because of this behavior, each and every single one of his sock account needs to be Globally Locked, no matter how old it is. Examples of this LTA reusing his oldest accounts are: AUC COLOMBIA (his oldest account - created in 2006), Kirishima, Antiantps43, ZiguratEnki, LagashISHTAR, and EriduENKI. Global lock for socks of Avoided (or copycat)

Status:    In progress

Please lock his socks, check the underlying IPs and block IPs and (if found) as well additional accounts. A block for found IP ranges should be considered. If blocked locally, but not locked globally, it could end like this. Avoided (and his copycats) are located in Germany and Austria, IP adresses found from other than these countries are probably open proxies and should be blocked for 1 year.
