Global IP block exempt for AsharaDayne
- Global user: AsharaDayne (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hello, I come from China Mainland. I am an active editor of Chinese Wikipedia. For reasons known to all, I need a VPN to login in it currently. I need the permission for editing links on Wikidata. Thanks. --AsharaDayne (talk) 09:14, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
- AsharaDayne, could you comment your English Wikipedia block, please? --Base (talk) 08:18, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- Base, I had some edit wars with other editors because I didn't know the rules at that time. But the reason why they banned me was unacceptableby, the administrator of English Wikipedia thought I was another user's dummy account according to en:Wikipedia:The duck test. AsharaDayne (talk) 11:16, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- @AsharaDayne: The block should be appealled to Unblock Ticket Request System. You should explicitly state whether you are the alleged sock master in your unblock request. (You are not banned.)--GZWDer (talk) 16:10, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
- @GZWDer:, Thanks, I will try it. AsharaDayne (talk) 07:48, 13 February 2020 (UTC)

Global IP block exempt for Huelam987
- Global user: Huelam987 (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hi all, Hello! I have VPN connections for privacy. I'd like to kindly ask you to add my username to the global exemption list because my minor edits are usually in good faith and don't violate Wiki policy. Thank you so much!! --Huelam987 (talk) 07:51, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- Why are you blocked in French Wikipedia? Ruslik (talk) 10:02, 12 February 2020 (UTC)

Hello, I'm an editor from China Mainland. Wikipedia is banned here, and I wish to edit Wikidata through proxy. Thanks!, --Zhulg

Global IP block exempt for Davidwhy
- Global user: Davidwhy (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hello! I am from China Mainland. Because zh.wikipedia.org is blocked on the China GFW, I cannot access Wikipedia without an open proxy or a VPN. I had, and will, only edit when there is some small minor errors. So, if you could give me a global IP block exempt, I would be very grateful. Thanks, --DavidwhyDavidwhy (talk) 03:58, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
- Davidwhy, do you intend to edit other wikis than zh.wikipedia.org? If not, a local Chinese Wikipedia exemption, zh:Wikipedia:IP封禁例外, would do you a better job than the global one. --Base (talk) 14:15, 16 February 2020 (UTC)

- You have very few global edits, and it seems like you may only intend to edit zhwiki. If that is the case, zh:Wikipedia:IP封禁例外 would serve you better. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 06:58, 18 February 2020 (UTC)

Global IP block exempt for 3mnaPashkan
- Global user: 3mnaPashkan (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hi all, I'm an active Wikipedia member since October 2010, especially for the German Wikipedia! I during the last one and a half years I was quite often blocked and than again unblocked, maybe because I have VPN connections for privacy. I'd like to kindly ask you to add my username to the global exemption list, it's really bothering me that I have to make frequently breaks in my Wikipedia work. Thank you so much!! --3mnaPashkan (talk) 08:25, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
Global IP block exempt for nobuts
- Global user: nobuts (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hi, I've been a registered editor since 2007, but currently I reside in China where Wikipedia is blocked, so I have to use a proxy/VPN to browse and edit here. I previously submitted a request when I was blocked while editing English Wikipedia and my request was granted and now I'm able to edit English Wikipedia. Today I wanted to minor-edit a translated page of Chinese Wikipedia and realized that my IP is blocked for Chinese Wikipedia, so I'm not sure if I need to request here for global permission. Thanks, cheers!
- Please, login and confirm this request. Ruslik (talk) 13:50, 19 February 2020 (UTC)

Global interface editor for Sophivorus
- Global user: Sophivorus (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
- Not ending before 14 February 2020 22:41 UTC
Hi! I'd like to request a renewal of my global-interface-editor permission. The main reason is because I maintain the ProveIt gadget on 40+ wikis. I haven't done many changes in the last few months but I have done several changes earlier in 2019 and I plan to do more in 2020. Furthremore, I'm working on other scripts that I hope to be able to spread to other wikis and promote to gadgets if the communities agree. Thanks! Sophivorus (talk) 22:41, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
- Support See no issues. They have valid need for renewal. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 13:15, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

- Support No issues. Only comment is that don't we have to add an end date for this request? Seems missing. --Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 09:31, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Support Supporting on the basis of being a global tool maintainer, but wouldn't support if they were looking to use the tools otherwise. No concerns, I trust they will use it where appropriate. ~riley (talk) 01:55, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
- Support Previous GIE without issues. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 06:52, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
