This page hosts requests for global permissions. To make a request, read the relevant policy (global rollback , global sysop , global rename , …) and make a request below. Explain why membership is needed for that group, and detail prior experience or qualifications.

This is not a vote and any active Wikimedia editor may participate in the discussion.

Global rollback and global interface editor requests require no fewer than 5 days of discussion while abuse filter helper and maintainer requests require no fewer than 7 days. Global renamer and global sysop requests require no fewer than 2 weeks of discussion. For requests that are unlikely to pass under any circumstances, they may be closed by a steward without further discussion (after a reasonable amount of input).

नमस्ते! ज़ी, This is my second request. I am a member of SWMT wiki. And I'm using SWViewer and twinkle presence to remove vandalism.This tool would help me a lot doing cross-wiki vandalism fighting. I am trying my best to improve myself by taking your advice on the earlier request. If the members find my works positive, then keep your views.   • Oppose Oppose For a lot of reasons. Firstly most of their crosswiki edits are without edit summaries and I have notified them about this[1] but it's still happening. Secondly, competency issue. They have deleted/restored lot of pages during their term as hi.wiktionary admin for no real reason (possibly testing mop on actual content)[2][3][4] and blocking IP indefinitely[5] (which is still blocked even after I told them twice about it). Third, inability to handle criticism. After being notified of their mistakes, instead of rectifying them, they started blaming me[6][7]. As GR is permission which is hard to monitor and requires trust and with their continuous mistakes and behaviour, I don't think that they can be trusted with this perm. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 04:54, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Global IP block exempt for Owais Al Qarni

Hello, I am a regular user of BN Wiki, En Wiki, Wiki Commons and WikiData. I can't access these from today without Bn Wiki. I already have local IPBE in bnwiki.

Secondly, The Government of Bangladesh has blocked Internet Archive and other important websites. But I have to use Internet Archive regularly. So often I have to use VPN. This is a user who wants to contribute to Incubator, Commons, English Wikipedia, and Wikidata, hence he needs a global exemption and not something in a particular wiki. Similar to the request about User:Zbobai above—they both mostly want to contribute new content in the Tyap language in the Incubator, and also content about their culture to Commons, English Wikipedia, and Wikidata, hence they need a global exemption and not something in a particular wiki. Global IP block exempt for Boadu Emma

I have been user on Wikipedia for the last two years.

Recently, an IP address assigned to me by my internet service provider has been blocked from editing on Wikipedia.

Pls my phone's actual IP address is 10.60.35.4

This IP address (41.215.173.96) blocked by Wikipedia is not mine.

I understand the internet service providers (ISP) in Ghana do rotate customers IP addresses which I have no control over.

I don't have any open proxy software on my phone. My phone's VPN is disabled.

Pls exempt my user name from any IP address block.

Kindly exempt me from IP address blocks. The internet service provider is in control over the peer-to-peer proxy, web host so allow me to continue use it to make edits.

My major motivation being on Wikipedia is to edit about places in my region of Ghana
