This page hosts requests for global permissions. To make a request, read the relevant policy (global rollback , global sysop , global rename , …) and make a request below. Explain why membership is needed for that group, and detail prior experience or qualifications.

This is not a vote and any active Wikimedia editor may participate in the discussion.

Global rollback and global interface editor requests require no fewer than 5 days of discussion while abuse filter helper and maintainer requests require no fewer than 7 days. Global renamer and global sysop requests require no fewer than 2 weeks of discussion. For requests that are unlikely to pass under any circumstances, they may be closed by a steward without further discussion (after a reasonable amount of input).

Requests for global rollback permissions

Please be sure to follow the instructions below:
Your request might be rejected if you don't follow the instructions, and not doing so would reflect poorly on your suitability.
Please also review the Global rollback policy.
Instructions for making a request

Before requesting, make sure that: You have sufficient activity to meet the requirements to be allocated the global rollback flag

To make a request
Copy the template below to the bottom of this section and explain of why you need the access and why you're suitable.
=== Global rollback for {{subst:u|{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}}} ===
{{sr-request
 |status    = <!-- don't change this line -->
 |domain    = global <!-- don't change this line -->
 |user name = {{subst:REVISIONUSER}} <!-- don't change this line unless you're nominating another user -->
}}
::''Not ending before {{subst:#time:j F Y H:i|+5 days}} UTC''

The request will be approved if consensus to do so exists after a period of consideration of no less than 5 days (with rare exceptions , no matter how obvious the result may seem). This is not a vote, and all input is welcome. Stewards will determine whether consensus exists; when doing so it is likely that the weight given to the input of those involved in cross-wiki work will be most influential.

Global rollback for SCP-2000

Not ending before 26 December 2020 12:04 UTC

Hello! I am SCP-2000 and a rollbacker in zhwiki, wikidata, and commonswiki now. I usually revert vandalism in cross-wiki (See also my global contribution). I would like to request global rollback permission so that help me revert vandalism rapidly. Thank you!--SCP-2000 12:04, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Global rollback for Jan Myšák

Not ending before 30 December 2020 19:04 UTC

Hi, I'm Jan Myšák and I'm a cswiki sysop. I've been doing RC patrol there for over a year, I revert cross-wiki vandalism using SWViewer and I also patrol on enwiki using Twinkle. Hence global rollback would come in handy for me. Best, --Jan Myšák (talk) 19:04, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Oppose I don't see any cross-wiki evidence? The edit matrix is bad, and your statement mentions work only in cswiki and enwiki (which has its own rollback procedure if you are looking for that). GR is generally for users who work on several wikis. Leaderboard (talk) 19:11, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Leaderboard: I opened Jan Myšák's GUC, and I do see some undos there at multiple wikis. --Martin Urbanec (talk) 19:16, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
only in this month. He was not active before that month. -𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 👤💬 19:20, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well, he's active much more in this month, but not only, see [1], [2] or [3]. GR should not be that big deal, in my opinion, trusted users from medium/large wikis with some experience in xwiki patrolling should be considered. However, I fully respect your opinion. Martin Urbanec (talk) 19:30, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Martin Urbanec: Hi, it was not clear to me what the OP was looking for, because their statement mentions only cswiki and enwiki. Am I missing something? Leaderboard (talk) 07:52, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Global rename for DejaVu

Not ending before 2 January 2021 19:09 UTC

Hello. I am active member of OTRS team and an administrator on the Persian wikipedia. My main concern for this request is non-Latin user names and abuses that It may cause because of similarities, I think an admin who knows these languages (Arabic and Persian scripts) is vital for global rename team. I have read and understood all relevant rename policies and with global renamer I would help reduce the rename backlogs and contribute to a speedier block review process, easing the burden on other global renamers. Thanks for your consideration. Déjà vu 19:09, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
