This page hosts requests for global permissions. To make a request, read the relevant policy (global rollback, global sysop, global rename, …) and make a request below. Explain why membership is needed for that group, and detail prior experience or qualifications.
This is not a vote and any active Wikimedia editor may participate in the discussion.
Global rollback and global interface editor requests require no fewer than 5 days of discussion while abuse filter helper and maintainer requests require no fewer than 7 days. Global renamer and global sysop requests require no fewer than 2 weeks of discussion. For requests that are unlikely to pass under any circumstances, they may be closed by a steward without further discussion (after a reasonable amount of input).
Please note that Global rollbackers discussions are not votes. Comments must present specific points in favor of or against a user's approval.
Instructions for making a request
Before requesting, make sure that:
You have sufficient activity to meet the requirements to be allocated the global rollback flag
To make a request
Copy the template below to the bottom of this section and explain of why you need the access and why you're suitable.
=== Global rollback for {{subst:u|{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}}} ===
{{sr-request
|status = <!-- don't change this line -->
|domain = global <!-- don't change this line -->
|user name = {{subst:REVISIONUSER}} <!-- don't change this line unless you're nominating another user -->
}}
::''Not ending before {{subst:#time:j F Y H:i|+5 days}} UTC''
The request will be approved if consensus to do so exists after a period of consideration of no less than 5 days (with rare exceptions, no matter how obvious the result may seem). This is not a vote, and all input is welcome. Stewards will determine whether consensus exists; when doing so it is likely that the weight given to the input of those involved in cross-wiki work will be most influential.

:''Not ending before {{subst:#time:j F Y H:i|+2 week}} UTC''
The request will be approved if consensus to do so exists after a period of consideration of no less than two weeks (no exceptions are allowed no matter how obvious the result may seem). This is not a vote, and all input is welcome. Stewards will determine whether consensus exists; when doing so it is likely that the weight given to the input of those involved in cross-wiki work will be most influential. Please note: Since 2019 all global sysops are required to have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled.
Question: For non sysop users, my usual question will be: What experiences you have with renaming, I seen you transfer some request from the local page to SRUC recently, but then it is quite recent. Do you have some long term experiences. In addition, if one of the vi renamers will to endorse you this will make the support easy. Thanks for volunteering anyway. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:16, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Since my account was created about 6 months ago, I can't say that I have long-term experiences. My very first edit at vi:WP:DTND was made on May 27. Normally, Alphama will reply as soon as possible, and being a native Vietnamese himself he doesn't need a clerk. However, recently, he was quite busy, and I voluntarily took care of those requests (I read the renaming policies a long time before that due to curiosity). Unnamed UserName me15:30, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I see. Alphama I had seen cleared those. I am just a little uneasy to grant such sensitive rights to a 5 month old account however, so Neutral but thank you for volunteering. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:16, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support Easy support. He is a very quick learner and versatile contributor of Vi Wikipedia, contributing in many areas such as templates, bot, AfD, discussions, many high quality articles and so on. Plus, there is a void that needs to be filled (Alphama & Minh Huy are off for quite some time). Nguyentrongphu (talk) 08:37, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The minimum requirement to run for eliminator in Vi Wikipedia is 6 months old account (1 year old for sysop). The issue here isn't about trust. Clearly, he got support (trust) from multiple local sysops and even a crat (ThiênĐế). Nguyentrongphu (talk) 09:06, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Neutral I was busy in the last 3 weeks and be back recently. I may continue to be busy due to my works. I know this candidate, he has the potential abilities to be a future admin in our project. Furthermore, I also raise my concerns to the account with 5 months old. Since a global renamer usually needs experiences, I am also not easy to offer this. However, I believe he will take this right soon, the thing left is just time. Alphama (talk) 09:00, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Weak oppose In my opinion, global rename is more significant than regular adminship -- that's also shown by the 80% support required in the policy. That's because renamers do work that takes effect everywhere, at all projects, as one of the very few user groups. I think global renamers should have sysop experience at their home wiki. Thanks for volunteering! --Martin Urbanec (talk) 22:25, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Weak oppose I don't really trust this member yet. I think you will get this right sooner or later but I can't vote "support" for you right now. Mạnh An (talk) 13:58, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In the same way as NguoiDungKhongDinhDanh indicated above, two global renamers who know Vietnamese are presently both very busy, Vietnamese Wikipedia requires volunteers to help with backlog requests as well as new requests. I've been on Wiki for over two years and have some familiarity with it. Although I'm not a sysop, I've been an eliminator of Vietnamese Wikipedia since January of this year and am quite aware of the rules and tools. I think this tool will not be too difficult for me. Thank you. ༒ Nhac Ny ༒Talk to me ♥10:52, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Thank you for volunteering, can I ask what you mean by " I think this tool will not be too difficult for me." Are you confident to use the rename tool well? Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:49, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Camouflaged Mirage Sorry for not understanding your question. Although I am rarely engaged to the page vi:Wikipedia:Đổi tên người dùng, I do keep a close eye on this site and how Alphama handled the requests. Furthermore, I remind members whose names are in violation on a frequent basis that they must alter their names or report the infraction to an administrator if the violation persists (of course I have read and understood the relevant regulations). ༒ Nhac Ny ༒Talk to me ♥13:10, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I see no reason to oppose and since eliminator is some position of trust and they seem to know somewhat about renaming, I will Support for now. Another vi renamer surely will help somehow, please use the tool carefully and I really hope you will stay active. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 13:14, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support unlike with Ulubatli Hasan who I had to oppose even though they were an eliminator, NhacNy2412 seems to have more cross wiki experience, unlike Ulubatli Hasan. And even though viwiki's eliminator group doesn't allow for blocking, that doesn't mean that they're not trusted. SHB2000 (talk | contibs) 23:42, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support As a global renamer in the same project (viwki), I endorse this candidate. She has joined Wikipedia more than 2 years and earn a lot of experience, especially as the role of an eliminator. Alphama (talk) 08:12, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support 2 years has given her a lot of experience, I think this member is trusted enough to hold this permission. Good luck Mạnh An (talk) 13:56, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
