This page is for voting in the new Wiktionary logo vote. The logos for voting were proposed between 2009-05-19 00:01 to 2009-07-31 23:59.
There will be two rounds of voting.
Round One: In round one, voters can choose the logo they prefer the most in addition to ones with their normal support and add it to the vote tally below. The voting will commence on 2009-12-07 00:01 and will conclude on 2009-12-31 23:59.
Round Two: Then, if no one logo receives the absolute majority of the votes, the logo candidates will be narrowed to the two with the most votes from round one and will go to a runoff vote. Round two will commence from 2010-01-01 00:01 and will conclude on 2010-01-31 23:59.
Following this, each language Wiktionary will hold their own vote on whether to accept the winning logo. In the event that less than 60% of the Wiktionaries approve of the logo, none of the Wiktionaries will use the logo.

[edit] Logo candidates
The logos to be voted on are below. They are numbered here in the (numerical) order in which they were nominated (the spatial order is at random). Some of these logos have language variants. They are not included here. Logos which have colour variants that were not proposed separately are not included as well.
The text reading "Wiktionary - The Free Dictionary" beneath the logos are not included here [or should not be included here]. The winning logo will have the text added to it for the different languages and may receive some touch-ups as well.
For more information on the logo candidates, see the proposal page here.
[edit] Voting
Please select one (1) logo that is your most preferred candidate as the most supported candidate, which is given two (2) votes. You can also have an unlimited number of other candidates you like, as normal supported candidates, which are each given one (1) vote.
You may leave either the "most supported candidate" or the "normal supported candidates" sections blank depending on your preferences. Only one vote for one "most supported candidate" is allowed.
When round one of voting is concluded, if no one logo receives the absolute majority of the votes, the two logos with the most votes will face each other in a runoff vote so that the majority of users can select a new logo for Wiktionary.
To vote, click either here or click the green button below, and copy and paste the following line to the end of the list.
- {{SUBST:WiktLogoVote|mostsupport=MOSTSUPP|support=NORMSUPP|languagecode=LANG}}
Replace MOSTSUPP with the number found above your most supported candidate logo, which is given two votes; NORMSUPP with the ones for your normal supported candidates, which is given one vote each, seperated by commas (,) and LANG with the language code of the Wiktionary you are affiliated with. Note that you don't have to append ~~~~, but you do have to sign in first. A shorter alternative is also available:
- {{SUBST:WiktLogoVote|MOSTSUPP|NORMSUPP|LANG}}
An example:
- {{SUBST:WiktLogoVote|85|90, 93|en}}
