Hello! |
|||
Flow board creators can't move Flow boards on certain wikis, because they are not autopatrolled there. Is it possible to add "move" rights to "global-flow-create" group? That would concern [[Special:GlobalUsers/global-flow-|these users]]. |

This is not a vote and any active Wikimedia editor may participate in the discussion.
Global rollback and global interface editor requests require no fewer than 5 days of discussion while abuse filter helper and maintainer requests require no fewer than 7 days. Global renamer and global sysop requests require no fewer than 2 weeks of discussion. For requests that are unlikely to pass under any circumstances, they may be closed by a steward without further discussion (after a reasonable amount of input).

Global rollback for Boomer Vial
- Global user: Boomer Vial (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
I have over 3,500 edits on the English Wikipedia, with more than half being acts of anti-vandalism.It'd be awesome to have global rollback rights, for when I expand over to other parts of WikiMedia. Boomer Vial (talk) 23:40, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
- Not ending before 24 February 2016 23:40 UTC
- As it says in the heading for this section, please read the policy on global rollback. Specifically, "For consideration, users must ... make heavy use of revert on many wikis." You have edits on only 4 projects, and reverts on one - this activity does not meet the policy requirements. Please gain more experience in cross-wiki vandalism; there is the SWMT if you are looking for ways to help, and you can do that without the rollback button. Regards, Ajraddatz (talk) 00:24, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose per Ajraddatz. Please help fight vandalism across other wikis, and then come back and request the tool. -FASTILY 00:26, 20 February 2016 (UTC)

- Oppose only 50 days on wikimedia. eurodyne (talk) 05:31, 21 February 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose I'm a fine vandal fighter on the English Wikipedia, but that still wouldn't grant me global rollback. GR requires cross-wiki anti-vandalism activity. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 23:29, 21 February 2016 (UTC)
- Neutral because I don't want to pile on. I would suggest you join #cvn-sw, help reverting vandalism and reopen this request in a couple of months. You can use User:Snowolf/How to globally Twinkle. Best of luck! Defender (talk) 15:29, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
- weak oppose I think your crosswiki experiences show that this nom is too soon for you. Anyway, thanks for your helping.--Infinite0694 (Talk) 18:01, 22 February 2016 (UTC)

Global rollback for Eurodyne
- Global user: Eurodyne (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
- Not ending before 6 March 2016 04:25 UTC
My third request, here are my second and first requests. I've been active as a member of the SWMT for over a year now and would like to have global rollback to better help me fight vandalism. Since my last request, I have had all of my sanctions removed on enwiki and am now also an administrator on Wikidata. eurodyne (talk) 04:25, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Strong support No concerns over previous sanctions, considering adminship at Wikidata. Activity has been demonstrated and in my opinion, any concerns mentioned in previous requests have been addressed. Keep up the great work! Riley Huntley (talk) 04:39, 1 March 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for vote to my steward election. btw, I'd like to return to a Global sysop. I'll be active at wmf wikis from this year. and I want to help for stewards, global sysops, and wikimedia communities. If I appointed as a global sysop, I'll be helpful for maintenance and anti-vandalism. Thanks. --rxy (talk) 15:21, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
- You just did not succeed in that election because people thought you returned to activity too recently. So why does this request come immediately after it? --MF-W 15:25, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for your question.
- Reason: Sometimes I feels late to handling an anti-vandalism request by Stewards or GSs. If anytime requests handled by Stewards or GSs quickly, I'm not making this requests, and I don't run for SE.
- About of my activity in this year: I returned to Japanese Wikipedia for helping as the temporary sysop for stopping massive vandalism bot (Log 1, 2, 3, 4). After that, I talk about to change a department in my job to boss, and that is approved. For this, I'll be active at wmf wikis from this year.--rxy (talk) 19:16, 28 February 2016 (UTC)

Global abusefilter-helper for Matiia
- Global user: Matiia (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hi. I'm requesting this user rights as I'd like to be to see private abusefilter logs on non-GS wikis. As a GS, I'm able to see private abusefilter logs on most of wikis, and as a metawiki admin, I'm able to see global private abusefilter logs, but I'm unable to see private abusefilter logs on non-GS wikis, where a lot of spam can be found. Matiia (talk) 03:12, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
- Seems like an out-of-scope request to me. --Vogone (talk) 03:49, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
- Huh? AFAIK, the scope of this user rights is not defined. Where has it been discussed? Matiia (talk) 02:08, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
- The group has initially been created for Nemo bis and the scope mentioned in his request. Also the group name suggests the intention behind the group's creation. --Vogone (talk) 22:38, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- No. While this usergroup was created to allow Nemo bis be to able to see private abusefilters, its scope was not discussed, as it was created as an alternative not to add to him abusefilter editor rights. Matiia (talk) 00:52, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Why "No"? Of course it does suggest an intention. --Vogone (talk) 00:57, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- I mean that its scope was not mentioned in his request. He requested abusefilter editor rights and some users opposed to it, so this usergroup was created as an alternative, and as Ruslik0 thought it'd be one person group, it makes sanse this usergroup to be called so. Matiia (talk) 01:27, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Why "No"? Of course it does suggest an intention. --Vogone (talk) 00:57, 2 March 2016 (UTC)

- What is the purpose of seeing private AF logs on non-GS wikis? --MF-W 22:35, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Mainly being to able to find spambots. I also watch abusefilters logs on eswiki to try to improve local abusefilters (i.e. finding falsepositve or edits what they didn't trigger, for the filter be fixed (I know I'm not a local admin, but well... I try to help out as much as I can being a normal user)) and as some of them are private, I always need to ask some local admin to tell me what happened. Being to able to see private abusefilters codes on other wikis would be useful as well, to find some ideas about how to improve them. Matiia (talk) 00:52, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose Sorry but I think I tend to agree with @Vogone here. The vast majority of spambots are logged in the global abuse filter log and in the meta spam blacklist log. Non-GS wikis are suposedly big enough to deal with those issues you mention. —MarcoAurelio 19:37, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
