Blocking a range in which my IP address is included
I have only contributed for a few times since I joined Wikipedia, and then this happened. My current IP address 208.123.223.254 was included in a huge block range 208.123.208.0/20. The block was made by Vituzzu, and the reason given is leaky colo + open proxy at 208.123.223.242.s. And since it was implemented, I had to wait for the year 2020 before I could edit a page again, so please help me.

could you please so kind and take a look at Steward requests/Global permissions#Global IP block exempt for UT-interwiki-Bot? I want to run my interwiki bot UT-interwiki-Bot on a Linux server which has an IP that's in a range which has been blocked on all wikis by you, see here. Would it be possible, to "downgrade" this block from "37.17.224.0/21" to "37.17.224.0/24"? With your block you have banned all IPs from 37.17.224.0 until 37.17.231.255 (that are 2046 IPs). Unfortunately the IP of my Linux server begins with 37.17.225.* and is therefore banned by the block you have set. If you could change the block from "37.17.224.0/21" to "37.17.224.0/24" I wouldn't need a global IP block exempt for my bot UT-interwiki-Bot.

Hello Vituzzu, since May 18 My Google BOT(NeechalBOT) unable to run due to error globalblocking-ipblocked-range. Google use dynamic ip eg:107.178.194.178,107.178.195.164 which was blocked exactly last year, however wikipedia recognize the cookies and BOT was able to update then. But recently it throws error. A German user recently complained about being affected by this block, for he's using some virtual server hosted in Norway. Ciao, non sono certo che sia tu che te ne occupi, mi succede che da qualche tempo ho enormi problemi coi browser in quanto mi si intromettono degli ad che mi mandano dove vogliono loro e non riesco a navigare tranquillamente. Sul PC non succede, li ho il firewall Norton e altri antimalaware. Sull'iPad e smartphone invece è una tragedia! - Hi Shadegan! A proxy can be used not only by you; so, unblocking proxy's IP can be dangerous. But you can ask for IP block exemption. I have only contributed for a few times since I joined Wikipedia, and mostly because our University professor told us we had to write an article for this site until 1st of December of this year, and then this happened. Evidentemente devo aver frainteso il tuo messaggio che mi scrivetti ad agosto, il quale recitava "delle utenze puoi fare quello che vuoi, se evadi il blocco sei fuori." Io ero convinto che intendessi che da anonimo potevo fare qualche piccolo contributo, senza però utilizzare la pagina utente. Ora, mi scuso se sono evaso su Pedia, ma lo avevo fatto solo per una giusta causa, ovvero, creare i collegamenti con delle voci appena create su Wikiquote. Oltretutto il blocco mi è stato esteso anche su Quote, dove io opero in maniera corretta (a parte quei vandalismi da te scoperti). Another customer of this data center provider has also an own network in this big range and offers an anonymization service with e.g. exit node IP 217.114.213.19. That is no reason to block the big range and deny access for many subnets of this range! Hi Vituzzu, you blocked a range (23.227.160.0/19) that covers my personal and private proxy 23.227.160.112 (clonca.andreas-borchert.de). I did not notice this for quite some time period as I always work through my account but I got hit by the block when I tried to interwiki-link a Commons page to a Wikipedia article. Please note that this is a range of co-located and virtual servers. If there is one bad host, please block that one but not the entire range as this hits innocent people like me. Je ne sais pas qui dans le "range" de mon IP a causé des problèmes, mais je ne devrais pas être punis pour des clients de cette compagnie qui agisse de manière incorrecte. Je fais très peu de corrections, environ 5 par années donc, je ne vois pas l'avantage de me faire yet another account, t'sais? (Après 20 ans sur Internet, il me faut un fichier texte encrypté pour y inscrire tout mes comptes et mots de passe). SVP considère de débloquer mon serveur.

Hello there Vituzzu. I'm writing this to inform you of a block in an IP address I'm connecting from. There seems to be a block around my area and I can't edit using my account. I've been able to do so for the last several months now while I was away. But when I returned home, it said that the IP address I'm using have been blocked until 2020. I do believe it is a mistake on your behalf and hope for an unblock of the IP address. The reason that is given is "leaky colo + lots of spam at 128.199.242.223". I would respectfully ask that you would give a proper explanation regarding this block and if it is possible to unblock registered users from this IP address. Hi, I'm a newer wikipedia user and editor who only edits wikipedia for a hobby I have where I edit election information boxes and screenshot the changes, never actually saving the edits. Occasionally I add pictures of politicians to wikipedia. In both pictures that were not explicitly mine I specified that I did not know the particular copyright information of the image. However, it appears my last image has driven me to be blocked from wikipedia. Because I never mean any harm and I don't intend to publish any of these images that I add to the site. I was editing the Mass Effect: Andromeda page on Wikipedia on my account (since the place I am at right now is affected by an IP block on all unregistered users), and suddenly, just when I was making another edit, this happened.

Et vous êtes mon ultime recours pour dénoncer des dérives nuisibles in fine à la réputation de Wikepdia. J'ai en effet déjà tenté d'alerter le CAR qui s'est déclaré incompétent puis fais appel récemment aux bureaucrates où mes messages sur leur PdD, revertés dans les délais les plus brefs par Habertrix, n'entrent même plus suite à une prise de contrôle que n'approuverait probablement pas la CNIL. Mais ce genre de manœuvre risquée est bien révélateur en soi de l'urgence qu'il y a pour certain(e)s de "cacher les poussières sous le tapis".
Excusez-moi donc de vous ramener loin en arrière. En novembre 2013 Litlok est intervenu sur la PaS pour TI d’un article consacré à l’ « Attitude des juifs sous le régime nazi » pour suggérer son transfert dans la catégorie Recherche en histoire de Wikiversité, ce que j’ai fait le 6 janvier 2014 non sans provoquer de réactions de Lgd/Alginatus, longtemps sous simple IP.
Deux ans plus tard, en octobre 2016 la fausse manoeuvre d’un collègue et ami qui a rapatrié par erreur les travaux résultant de l'évolution de cet article sur Wikiversité a été prétexte au procès le plus rapide de l’histoire wikipédienne. Un RA pour « désorganisation de l’encyclopédie » initié par Heddryin à mon encontre déposé le 22 octobre à 12 heures 46 a abouti à mon blocage indéfini le 24 octobre à 18 heures 41, sanction prononcée par Lomita – après une large consultation certes – aux motifs allégués de « WP-POINT, meatpuppetry et contournement de décision communautaire », la décision étant appliquée par Starus. Le RA initial a été clos dès le 23 par la même Lomita à 9 heures 33 – soit 15 heures après son ouverture – pour « conflit d’édition » trois minutes exactement après le dépôt de mon argumentaire, la discussion se poursuivant ensuite uniquement sur le BA entre administrateurs où celui-ci est ignoré.
Mes tentatives d’appel au RA puis au CaR sont rapidement éludés avec pour seul effet le blocage de mon IP (2A01:E35:2E8F:19D0:E574:9CCA:1C5C:7825) et l’effacement de ma page présentation ainsi que sa PdD probablement trop compromettantes pour mes détracteurs. Depuis d’épisodiques tentatives de modestes interventions lors d’éphémères déblocages de mon IP se traduisent par son reblocage immédiat par Lomita au seul prétexte du test du canard, empêchant ainsi toute remise en cause de sa décision. Et actuellement ma détermination à faire rétablir l’exactitude des faits me vaut en RA une proposition de bannissement de la part d’Heggesipe. L’IP flottante de mon téléphone me permet néanmoins de porter à votre connaissance cette situation sur laquelle je reste prêt à fournir tous les renseignements complémentaires utiles. A cette fin, et faute d'autres moyens, mon adresse e-mail était accessible via mon ancienne page Claude PIARD. At 00:12 it was "m:NOP" correctly, while at 11:15 it became just "NOP" [4] and in different wikis the link leads to various unrelated local articles named "NOP". Question about the block of TOR IPs
Hello Vituzzu, recently I tried to edit a de:Wikipedia article using TOR... Well, you can imagine what happened. I remembered having read somewhere that Wikimedia does block TOR IP addresses with the reason that proxy IPs are often used to do vandalism etc.. Now my question to you as steward/admin/etc. is: Why does this affect Wikimedia (project) logged in users? As far as I know you can log in and edit pages as logged in user even if your IP address is blocked (at least it was written somewhere in de:wp), but obviously this does not apply to TOR users. I can imagine that TOR users could cause more than some trouble, but when the user is known (because he is logged in) I think he should be trusted (same as the not TOR users with blocked IP).
Sorry for that noobish question, I know that you have a lot to do and are spammed with IP (un)block complains... I hope I do not waste your time :)

I saw something about an IP proxy or something or other (gibberish to me) but I'm assuming it's because I started using the Opera browser's built-in VPN. I am an editor from Turkey at en:WP. Since a couple of days, I have been experiencing trouble to access en:WP, and get the error message "Secure Connection Failed". When I switch to open proxy, I can access en:WP in read-only mode. Escludendo i due progetti in interlingua (la lingua la conosco abbastanza e sto cercando di coinvolgere gli altri utenti di ia.wp anche se al momento solo uno ha fatto qualche modifica effettiva). Non ho intenzione di collezione flag nè questo è il mio scopo ho semplicemente optato per questa strada (chiedere il flag in un numero molto contenuto di wiki) per poter iniziare a dare una mano nella cancellazione di pagine soggette a vandalismo prima di fare richiesta come global sysop perché pensavo che visto che è passato solo un mese da quando sono diventato gr fosse necessario più tempo prima di essere gs comunque vedrò di fare la richiesta per diventarlo nelle prossime settimane. Comunque ogni richiesta che faccio non ha secondi fini ma solo fini pratici: il flag di amministratore in questi casi l'ho richiesto:
- Su ia.wiktionary e ia.Wikibooks per cercare di far ripartire i due progetti anche dal lato tecnico del software e degli accessori, oltre che a poter incitare gli altri utenti di ia.wp a partecipare a questi progetti.
- Su chr.wiktionary l'ho richiesto per poter oltre che cancellare pagine segnate come spam per poter fare delle sostituzioni ,che credo servano per migliorare i vari lemmi, tramite awb e il flag in questo caso credo che dopo i tre mesi non lo rinnoverò ma mi serviva solo ora per poter praticare queste correzioni (come potresti aver notato io non mi soffermo su un singolo progetto nè su una lingua ma cerco di essere il più globale possibile facendo quello che posso in tutti i progetti Wikimedia e non solo come membro del SWMT ma anche per poter dare una mano ai progetti anche in cose che sembrano piccole ma possono essere di aiuto (creazione di categorie in maniera corretta, correzioni nelle voci nei redirect ecc. ) --Samuele2002 (Talk!) 22:03, 7 June 2017 (UTC)

Ciao Vituzzu, sono RedDead720, un utente di it.wikipedia da circa due anni e mezzo. Oggi, mentre cercavo di fare una modifica, ho notato un avviso che mi informava che il mio indirizzo IP era stato bloccato su tutte le wiki dalle 14:10 del 4 agosto 2017 alle 14:10 dell'11 agosto 2017 per Long-term abuse. Il mio IP attuale è 151.37.159.189, e l'intervallo bloccato è 151.37.0.0/16. Cercando un po' ho notato che tale IP era stato incluso nella lista di possibili sockpuppet di un utente problematico, quindi credo si sia trattato di un malinteso, anche visto il gran numero di messaggi simili al mio su questa pagina. Thank you for your comments on Steward requests/Checkuser That's all been handled now so this is not a request, merely for your information. This was not merely fishing for the identity of Sci-fi-; Michael skater may have been checked with the first sockpuppet investigation that he filed; at that point, none of the later-identified socks had edited, so it would come up clean. That skater request was under a different master name (Psychicbias) , and was thus, at the time the next request was filed, not the same report (as Blastikus). The next report did not mention Michael skater. What a checkuser would see was a pile of socks that were identical users. Was it noticed that Michael skater was one of them? Apparently not. There were other accounts also not noted. What we know now is that, in fact, Michael skater created an army of false flag sock puppets, impersonations, as an attack on the user he had complained about. How get unblocked?
I checked something this morning thinking I was protecting myself from unwanted intrusions (not allowing identification of where I am) not knowing that Wikipedia may require this identification to be allowed. Please tell me how I reset this identification switch to allow what Wikipedia needs before allowing me to edit. I note that Elockid whom I'm supposed to contact on this has "left Wikipedia". The issue and missing sides 2
Hi,
Thanks for leaving note on my mr wikipedia talk page. First of all, I wish you take note of my detail breifing (missing side 1) in two immidiate sections on User talk:Bishdatta, if you have not done so till now. User:Bishdatta has been member of wmf board of trustee and currently is on the Funds Dissemination Committee. You read them and essential part I will give you latter in this discussion if needed. Most important you need to take note is, it is not gender bias issue as one of the grant proposer trying to make on talk page; this aspect is explained in detail to user User:Bishdatta on her talk page.
Please also do study and take note that blocks from Marathi Wikipedia are in fewest possible numbers compared to any other wikipedia community and usually are of smallest possible duration. We are usually inclusivist for Marathi language people to the best possible level, which you will not find on any of other wikis and I will give you ennumber of illustrations towards that. If at all any blocks are required we prefer limited edit filters for essential reasons over entire block rather we strive more for cultural improvement rather than blocks. But some times it takes time to device apropriate filters too in those cases at times we need to resort to temporary blocks.
While one of the policy page is blocked currently to avoid vandalism, rest of village pumps are working. There is one special village pump on mr wikipeda to review and comment on sysop activity. besides at personal level I do have my own user subpage where other users can criticize with full freedom of expression - and I have been criticised at times and those criticisms have been taken in good spirit . Rather it is Marathi Wikipedia or Marathi language forums you will find me viceforus supporter and implementer of freedom of expression. And I can cite ampple of examples.
One of the page which is blocked is checked by another sysop. Some one who knowns Marathi language will understand on Marathi wikipedia that we both the beurocrats do not take each others sides just like that but we do cross check the various factors in indipendant point of view. For example you take latest main page article mr:दिवाळी is mainly wrtten by a woman editor and on talk page of the article we both beurocrats discussed the pros and cons of content in very different perspectives. So some one is trying to make out that Marathi wikipedia is closed thing of a single beurocrat is not right.
The issue and the missing side 3
The next problem what we are currently dealing at mr wikipedia, which I have explained on talk page of User talk:Bishdatta is problem of vicious environment caused on mr wikipeda due to attempts of fund farming and syndication by vested interest to get wmf funds, which wmf wishes to distribute liberally.
Since frankly like other language wiki communities our mr community also ignored issue of who is applying for funds and whether they are being used for Marathi language or not. See discussion on hi:विकिपीडिया:चौपाल they have been taken for ride by other language people for fund farming by placing just a proposal on meta. Tell me is it really reasonable if I place a fund proposal for Italian language which I never worked for. More over funny thing is some of them are asking for funds in the name of expat community of India origin staying in USA. Many of India origin people may be earning more than many of local USA. Rather than asking for funds they should be supporting with funds. Now this happened with Hindi Wikipedia. Now with these proposers they are from well to do Indian metropolitan cities where in it is not too difficult to rais funds locally. Still if they want to collect funds from wmf cause they are less monitored so be it, we had no issue no competition we want to do only encyclopedic work. But unfortunately some of these fund seekers are getting involved in infighting and they are using mr wiki village pump to do this infighting is some thing trouble some.
See in India you show some carrots you get atleast some supportes for every thing and anything. If we leave this to democratic forces which wikipedia is not then syndicates will keep enjoying fund farming but environment on local wikis will remain vicious. To avoid that Undersigned had to reign in with a new policy asking for, what we have decided to do is ask fund seekers to write more number of Marathi lanuage encyclopedic paragraphs, and support from simmiller more number of encyclopedic paragraph writer - so we can keep people of dubious credentials who make very few edits to show that they or on mr-wikipedia and get involved in fund seeking syndicate. the second new rule is to take marathi language professor or teacher of their choice as mentor / guide so there will be some minimal level of direction and sending wmf funds for given purpose will have a proper cross check. While I have started the policy rather than leaving it to mercy of fund seeking syndicates I am involving entire Marathi language seniors including professors and senior encyclopedic writers from across state sans vested interest and people with conflict of intrest and they will redraft Marathi wikipedia policy and the same will be communicated to funds dessimination committee of wmf in due course.
The funds seekers who want to prove their credibility will accept the policy; the rest of them are going to create some level of noise, that we have to anticipate and bear with the same until they fall in the line.
One of the proposer of grant request under discussion has started her wiki carreer only with grant pages ! Let that be. While drafting new policy they can not be considered since it amounts to conflict of interest and unfair accounting practice. So until an effective limited purpose filter is deviced the proposers are blocked for limited time. Secondly Marathi Wikipedia is already having a policy that non - Marathi language people can not take part in policy making on Marathi wikipedia nor they can use non-Marathi language liberally on talk pages. So freedom from blocking is just notional for the user you are discussing; where as it is very much a question of project indipendance for Marathi Wikipedia community.
Last but not least here let me cite you one more anecdote or anology is recent example of Russia government taking undue interest in USA election. I could not have blocked one user having conflict of interest and leave another unblocked specially when one of the village pump on Marathi wikpedia is being abused , the abusers would get more chance to increase abuse level with even unseemingly unintentional action of the blocked user -hence the need for preemptive action arose. It is simmiller thing about the user reffered by you has prima facia conflict of interest and is from non-Marathi language background, to leave any chance. At the face value it may seem preemptive at this juncture, until a proper edit filter comes into place we did not have any other option but to take the said action as a temporary measure. As earlier said we at mr wikipedia on our own as part of free culture have used blocking to the least.
This unfortunate phase has come, but will not last long for sure. We know our way ahead. We belive in good stewardsship the way you belive in, and expect wmf funds are spent with due care and healthy environment is maintained on our project. Thanks for your concern as steward.

Hello Vituzzu, I'm sysop form Spanish Wikipedia. This case is related to the block of 94.242.252.45, because in Spanish Wikipedia someone wikihounding several users including me. This vandal used the next IPs in the last days:

The user behind these IPs is the same: his preferences are sci-fi and hero movies or TV series. The anon is now against an es.wikipedia user called Adrian silvera, falsely reporting as "vandal" because Adrian silvera reverts the bad editions. Others users are victims of this anon, and he recurres with open proxies and another forms of evasion and bully repeteadly. Exists any solution about this? Warum werde ich jetzt plötzlich blockiert ? Du schreibst wegen „hosting service with open suchas 178.162.193.233“. Außerdem soll meine E-Mail-Adresse in meinem Benutzerkonto nicht stimmen oder nicht vorhanden sein. Dort ist aber alles korrekt angegeben, auch als ich im Sommer meine E-Mail-Adresse geändert habe. Hi Vituzzu, I am an active user in Arabic Wikipedia, and currently travelling abroad for few days. I used VPN today morning to access my account and edit some articles, when you blocked me for accessing through unfavourable IP. My account name is Yahia.Mokhtar, and the IP that was used by the VPN was 66.228.39.143 and I was using iPhone's SAFARI browser. If you did your homework, which apparently you would find this IP is a shared address in the National Library of Scotland, not some Russian troll farm. Oh, but I keep on forgetting, the Russians are behind all the messes that the west creates perfectly well on its own e.g. Brexit, Trump etc. Remember to check for those pesky Russians under your bed before you go to sleep tonight.

Hi user:vituzzu. Due to my complaint about misusing of adminstrative powers on marathi Wikipedia the former admin Mahitgar seems inactive since than. Since Mahitgar is the only administrator on marathi Wikisource there are many improvements left on that wiki. Marathi Wikipedia workshops are working to improve Wikisource and the main page there too looks shabby. Hi! I'm curious why was Борис Теодоров blocked on bgwiki? Was it identified as someone's sock probably, or do they have now deleted bad edits on Meta that I can't see (as they don't seem to have logged in anywhere else). I'm asking because in the last year or two we have one (or perhaps a group of) particularly persistent troll(s), who seem to constantly change roles with endless socks, playing either a typical bad vandal or a Good Samaritan—and I wondered if that wasn't one of those incarnations.

- Sorry for replying in English here (and not being Vituzzu, but just wanted to help out), but your IP-address and its range are part of webhosting of CHOOPA. Your hotel probably makes use of them for their WiFi service (thats my guess). From this range probably comes a lot of abuse in the form of spam and vandalism. That's the reason Vituzzu blocked this range in its entirety. Do you have an account? How do I go about getting this removed? I am not the person he claims I am. According to another IP who has complained Abd is also attacking Wikipedia users on his website [9]. - Sorry for the mess. See my latest response in the deletion request he linked, which explains. What he writes here is simply not true, he was not accused of being Anglo Pyramidologist, only of being "possibly involved," which from what he wrote in the Request comment is stronger than "possible," it's now likely. Please notice MrRowser's global contributions; from them, when he was originally mentioned, it was because he was an SPA on Wikiversity with a very narrow interest matching AP socks, who only edited for a short time with narrow purpose. He was not accused of any misbehavior, and he is not listed in the compiled list of socks that is still hosted here. However, he has now revealed much that leads to very strong suspicion, at least of off-wiki coordination, enough to file a checkuser request. Signs:
- A strong interest in getting rid of the AP documentation, entirely, not merely in correcting it.
- A characterization of studies designed to avoid personal "attack" as "attacks." I am studying, elsewhere, the history of the problems with Cold fusion on Wikipedia, and the page pointed to is a list of edits by that one user to that article. It includes his identified sock puppets, so that history was shown. He had sock puppets, it's that simple -- but I don't think the document is an "attack." I could, in fact, within policy, actually attack WMF users off-wiki, but that is not what I'm up to. I describe and document, first, and often that is all I do. Some people consider documentation an attack, which I find ... strange. Are they hiding something? Is very public information, public so that any person can look at exactly what I'm looking at, somehow private and off-limits?
- The mention of Ben Steigmann on the RfD page. This is a minor editor, not of any wide interest, but of high interest to Anglo Pyramidologist. I protected Ben Steigmann from retaliation by Anglo Pyramidologist, who had created impersonation socks, as shown in the deleted study, but I protect wiki users routinely, from disruption like that. AP socks, now locked, threatened retaliation, which has since appeared off-wiki and cross-wiki.
- The claim that the study is incorrect, without specifics, is common. After over three months, MrRowser is the only specific complaint to appear. And he was not actually claimed to be a sock. I now strongly suspect it from his behavior today.
- The already identified socks might be getting stale, so perhaps you could look? AP has recently been taking extra precautions against checkuser identification, so I wouldn't be surprised if you don't find anything ... but he does make mistakes. Or should I file a checkuser request? I expect to be away for a couple of days.

Abd you included my username in your LTA study and you have been writing about me on your website. I have been emailed what you have been doing, you have now deleted the evidence on your website which is very dishonest because you are now running scared. You wrote to another IP on the undeletion request that your study only included "blocked" users, but that is a lie because it included many unblocked IPS! You have included innocent people in your study such as myself and other IPs who are not socks. I just told you it is defamation and within 20 minutes of my reply you deleted it from your website. You have been accusing innocent people of being Anglopyramidologist, a user you have a vendetta against for allegedly creating your Rationalwiki article. As the IP pointed out in the un-deletion request, you originally wrote here [10], Friends and Enemies. You appear to being using this website to attack users you have personal issues against, your "enemies". I also do not understand your other LTA study [11], it lists socks of AngloPyramidologist which are found here [12] active from 2011-2015 on Wikipedia but then you added about 50 other accounts unrelated to AngloPyramidologist that were active on Wikiversity in 2017. Your study is not supported by solid check-user evidence and you appear to be making false connections. You are not a steward so you should not be conducting these investigations. AngloPryamidologist was a sockpuppeteer but I do not see evidence he was any of those accounts in 2017.
I just read over what the various IPS have written about all this. Admins have complained about your behaviour [13], you have also accused innocent IPs of being AngloPyramidologist which they have denied [14], [15]. You have sent another Wikipedia user harassing emails [16] and you defame him on your website [17], [18] on several articles. According to another admin you spoke to there have been numerous complaints about your behaviour. The same admin on that talk-page says the Wikimedia foundation have received "numerous legitimate complaints about your activity over a long period of time." As this IP wrote [19], you are using these "LTA" studies to "defame" innocent people. You then link to it on your personal website.
You also have an obsession with claiming different people are "AP" a target of yours, as another IP pointed out this is extreme paranoia. I can assure you none of us are that stupid user from years ago!! I do not know what the official rule on off-site harassment is, but as you have been harassing different Wikipedia users on your website I will email the Wikimedia Foundation and see what they say about this. Caught by a web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. Place any further information here. I've been using this web host since 2009. The only change I can think of is that my antivirus, Kaspersky, has introduced 'Safe Connection', which is a VPN service. I've not signed up for this, but it runs automatically for a limited time when I go online, then stops. Anything you can do will be much appreciated.

- I‘ve cleared both ranges 46.101.128.0/17, 139.59.0.0/16 (Digital Ocean, Inc.) locally on de.wp, answering Eingangskontrolle‘s complaint. Page deletion
Hello. You deleted User:Abd/LTA/Anglo Pyramidologist a few weeks ago but another user has noticed that a subpage (User:Abd/LTA/Anglo Pyramidologist/User data) and the organising page (User:Abd/LTA) are still there. - That user "noticing" previously made a fuss about those pages, using other accounts or IP, this wasn't new and Vituzzu already decided to keep those pages. The user is an obvious and deceptive Anglo Pyramidologist sock. However, those pages were written as working studies toward an LTA report on the sock master with over 200 identified socks, and I have all the data elsewhere. It does not need to be here. The page histories (like the deleted page) showed just how disruptive this user was. But I will not object to a decision to delete; the pages being here will continue to be a magnet for this user. String of spambots worth recording for posterity
Not sure whether you have noticed however, we have had a string of spambots back on site, some just for meta, they can from several swarms of /24 predominantly, though some somewhat bigger. This happened back a couple of years ago where the same swarm of /24s hits us. Harassment cross-wiki
Hi Vituzzu,
I'm an admin on fr-wp. There is an user banned from fr-wiki (by a collegiate decision), Olivier Hammam, who is harassing me on various wiki (and by email…), by notifying me again and again, even if I asked him to stop that. He's now also blocked on en-wp and de-wp, and I requested to block him on nl-wp (link) and it-wp (link), where he also notified me today.
Is it possible to do something? He doest not contribute on all of these Wikipedias. I don't know what can be done to stop him doing that on the 280+ wikipedias.

Source conflict
Hello. I ask you this question since you are an admin. I thought you can help me. A patrol from Turkish wiki is preventing me from deleting a sourceless section, they cited a source that does not support what they wrote. Then I updated the section with quotes directly from the persons that are related there, cited their interviews and updated the section but the patrol is still preventing me. Where can I file my complainment? Who can help us?
even more interesting is, I used the source they used and took something they did not take from the source and added it to the section, they still refuse to let the section change. When the patrol wants he uses that source, when I use the same source he/she prevents me from adding info to the section.

EDIT: That said, that Turkish patrol is abusing his power. I even launched a protest there and unfortunately I vandalised the site in order to attract attention from the officials, no one gave a damn sh.t. They are publishing a content that is unsupported by the source which itself is a distortion. I update the section with sources, he/she prevents me from doing so. They are being biased. I raised the same issue in english wiki, opened a discussion on the talk page and waited for 6 months, no one raised a counter-arguement and I deleted the section.
