Global rollback for Matiia
- Global user: Matiia (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hello, I have been doing countervandalism for a while on #cvn-sw (among other channels), and I would like to have the GR flag, it will be easier than using Twinkle, that sometimes doesn't load very well or I can't use it until I have a few edits, and my Internet doesn't help hehe, also, I could avoid captcha issues. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Matiia (talk)
- Sure. I've seen you around here and Wikia, and you do good counter-vandalism work. Ajraddatz (talk) 01:08, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

SupportMuy a favor--Philip J Fry (talk) 02:50, 22 February 2015 (UTC)SupportMuy a favor --ElGatoSaez (talk) 02:51, 22 February 2015 (UTC)- I went though a few of your reverts, and most of them were good, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on the few questionable ones I found:
- Please explain this revert. It looks like the IP was trying to "move" the page with copy/paste (not ideal but "okay" if a link to the old one is given), but now there are two identical pages. Do you think this "move" was appropriate? Would asking the IP editor about this have been better? (I don't know Shona, so I have no idea which title is better)
- When I saw that edit, the IP address had not created yet that page, I saw he was making a redirection from that page to a broken link, that's why I made that edit. And no, it was not right, the user didn't respected the "attribution". I think I should have waited a little more and see what was the user going to do after that, and see if he was going to create the page. --Matiia (talk) 06:05, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
- It was a mistake. Already fixed. --Matiia (talk) 06:05, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
- This revert looks like it might correct, but I'm not sure, since it added (mostly correct) content with incorrect capitalisation. Although I probably would have left it to the local community, I think the revert was OK; just wanted to put it here in case anyone else is interested. Global rollback for Bigwill91
- Global user: Bigwill91 (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Just created my new account, Bigwill91. If I see vandalism on a page, I can use this tool to revert it to the last revision. Bigwill91 (talk) 21:38, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
- Question: Have you read GR policy and requirements? Alan (talk) 21:55, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
- Yes. However, I think my account has been autocomfirmed. Bigwill91 (talk) 22:01, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
- Not done no edits except from this request. --Vituzzu (talk) 22:08, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
- Well, this means that I only did less edits. Bigwill91 (talk) 22:15, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
- Guess what; I did one revert on Translations:Tech/News/17/ja, because I found vandalism. Regards, Bigwill(History) Timestamp: 05:09, 20 February 2015 (UTC)

Global rollback for Brackenheim
- Global user: Brackenheim (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hello, I'm an active filemover on Commons who tries to keep Category:Media requiring renaming empty, so global autopatrol would be really useful and lokal users needn't mark changes like this as vandalism-free any more. Kind regards, --Brackenheim (talk) 17:55, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose Absolutely not, this is not the Global Rollback bit scope which is purely used for reverting spam and vandalism, please do read the pertaining policy here (Global rollback).--AldNonymousBicara? 18:09, 27 February 2015 (UTC)

Global rollback for R3kt
- Global user: R3kt (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hi all! I'm R3kt (formally Samuel Najdowski (also known as Snaj, alpha, etc on IRC) and I'd like to request global rollback today because I'm a member of the Counter-vandalism network and SWMT. You see, I was a newbie about a year ago, and now that I plan to stick to this account I've been sticking to for 5+ months, I'd like to request for these rights. I'm helpful in the SWMT channel, I know policies of when to revert and when not to (I've done Counter-vandalism on Wikia, but I've decided to move to WMF CVN recently) and in addition to that, even though my edit count is low atm, I plan to do more counter-vandalism even after I request this.. so no hard feelings if people say oppose. I'm known throughout the countervandalism community as a helper and a knowledgeable person when it comes to countervandalism (I've done it since October 2013); I've been active in most of the channels for a while now. Some Wikians might not like me due to past behavior, but I can assure you that isn't me anymore. Last but no least, I know what the rollback tools do and when to use them and when not to, as I've stated and most Wikimedians should know that. I'm just starting out, but my experience is high in this field and I feel I can be a great help if I put my mind to it.. the choice is yours. R3kt (talk) 22:40, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose. No cross-wiki experience. -- Tegel (Talk) 22:43, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- Comment. Tegel, even if I haven't done much yet, I /do/ have crosswiki experience from learning from other and I was good with crosswiki countervandalism at Wikia; if that means anything. I know exactly what to do in a crosswiki vandalism/spam situation. R3kt (talk) 22:47, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- The fact that you changed usernames again shows me no more maturity than before. I don't care what you did on Wikia, but I don't think that there is much use for you to have these rights here. Ajraddatz (talk) 22:48, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- Ajr, I *renamed* because I had a privacy concern, I *didn't* change accounts and haven't for over five months. You and everyone else that has ever known me at Wikia calls me immature. I like you ajr, but basing everything on the past is hardly a fair assumption to make. R3kt (talk) 22:52, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose per Tegel. There are big differences between Wikia and the Wikimedia Foundation wikis and thus your experience there, while laudable, is insufficient for this.--Jasper Deng (talk) 23:02, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose Not much cross-wiki experience and per Jasper Deng. Sorry. Jianhui67 talk★contribs 09:04, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose No. Eurodyne (talk) 21:56, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
- Request withdrawn per user request on IRC. --Stryn (talk) 22:41, 28 February 2015 (UTC)

Global sysop for JAn Dudík
- Global user: JAn Dudík (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
- Not ending before 9 March 2015 13:47 UTC
I want to ask for Global sysop right. I am now working mainly on interwiki on small Wikitionaries, I plan to work on connecting pages with Wikidata on small Wikipedias too. There is minimal activity and local sysops are mostly inactive and some experiments, pages marked for deletion, empty pages etc. stays here for long months. I have sysop rights on cswiki, cswikt, skwikt and wikidata now, so I could say I am experienced user. JAn Dudík (talk) 13:47, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
- Question: I notice you tag this page for deletion ky:Калып:Tlc/doc, this wiki have 3 admins, and none of them is you, will you delete this page without being requested by local communities or the author if you are a Global Sysops? --AldNonymousBicara? 14:02, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
- Usually I only mark page for deletion, if is not typical experiment. But if there are marked pages for years and I am able to understand why this page should be deleted, I'll delete it directly. There are wikis like setswana wiktionary, where are no active local users, and these would be my main field of work. JAn Dudík (talk) 07:40, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
- Support Yes, quite good answer, but I prefer to see GS not interfering with local communities.--AldNonymousBicara? 07:43, 24 February 2015 (UTC)

- In your first request you state you had to "use shared IPs for the next month". What has changed that makes this right yet again necessary? And why does it help you that much that instead of having to request renewal, you rather have it removed directly? Savhñ 21:43, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose, so many controversial stuff happen regarding this user. And the worst is, he don't know his own mistake and not regretting his own action, on previous closed unsuccessful RfA there are lines "I want to test steward inteligence", which is imo, counterproductive.--AldNonymousBicara? 07:47, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
