This page is for requesting CheckUser information on a wiki with no local CheckUsers (see also requesting checkuser access). Make sure to follow the following instructions, or your request may not be processed in a timely manner.

Before making a request:

  1. Make sure you have a good reason for the check. It will only be accepted to counter vandalism or disruption to Wikimedia wikis. Valid reasons include needing a block of the underlying IP or IP range, disruptive sockpuppetry, vote-stacking, and similar disruption where the technical evidence from running a check would prevent or reduce further disruption.
  2. Be specific in your reasons. Ambiguous or insufficient reasons will cause delays. Explain the disruption and why you believe the accounts are related, ideally using diff links or other evidence.
  3. Make sure there are no local checkusers.
  4. Please ensure that the check hasn't already been done:

Let me try to explain it in a clearer manner. This user is socking prolifically, the list of socks are found here. Based on local Checkuser policy [1], a CU can be conducted to find out the underlying IP / ranges of IP of all the accounts and then do a CU block (which must then be oversighted) to prevent new socks accounts to be created from the IP / ranges. This is what we are requesting. Anymore details do co-ordinate with Techyan. I am here to just explain on behalf what exactly is needed in more details. @-revi and Cohaf: Ctrl+F on this page and look for keyword "Albert". All recently discovered socks edited this page. Please block their IPs if what they are using are concentrate enough, or more ideally, all of them are using the same IP, and immediately oversight block logs - that's what we have always been done on zhwiki. --Techyan（Talk） 03:42, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It is allowed to block the underlying IP or range of IPs to prevent abuse, as specified in the Access to nonpublic personal data policy s.4(b)(v) - "the public, when it is a necessary and incidental consequence of blocking a sockpuppet or other abusive account". It is more complicated in this case because it is against our policies to take actions that a sysop could take (local blocks) when there are local admins who could perform them. Question Question: It seems that "extend the auto block" means "check the IP and enforce the CU block (if possible)". Reason(s): ro.wiki has no checkusers. Cristina neagu now blocked on en.wiki with an expiration time of 11:09, 9 March 2019 (account creation blocked, cannot edit own talk page) stated about me This guy really has mental problems. at [3]. She is not blocked on ro.wiki, which she has also edited. Now a new user, Sectant appeared on ro.wiki. He is gaslighting me at [4] and [5]. He basically says that he is a psychiatrist and that I would be mentally ill. I have reported him beginning with [6] and ending with [7], but no action was taken, not even a comment. There is one user who does not have an en.wiki account, and therefore could not have been checked by Bbb23: Lupulcarunt. About w:WP:DUCK: the timing of his actions at w:ro:Discuție:Zalmoxis coincided with the timing of the attacks of Sectant and Martacastro14, besides he made disparaging/condescending remarks about my diploma from the University of Amsterdam. All these accounts above are involved in zh:丘沁偉. Their editing patterns sugguests they are most likely controlled by two different users edit-warring on the page (so the CU result I speculate will have 2 groups), but for some reason, unlike ordinary sockpuppets-vandalizing-articles cases, these two users keep creating sock accounts to edit instead of sticking with their main accounts. Reason(s): Hatake is a regular creator of sockpuppets in sqwiki. After his latest socks user:Iskenderije,user:Tunxhi were blocked, he we believe he created a couple of new ones. user:GrepfrutAroma seems like the most obvious. He's pretty experienced and within an hour after this account was created, he started editing articles created or edited by the puppetmaster user:Hatake. Here is detailed report of the articles they have edited.See this report. This user has also been hounding me although we had no prior interaction before. On the other hand I've reported nearly all of Hatake's socks on Meta, which were confirmed by the checkusers here and blocked afterwards so it's natural that he holds a grudge against me. This aggressive behavior towards me lead me to believe that user:GrepfrutAroma is the latest sock of user:Hatake.

In one instance he started reverting me out of the blue (1,2,3). In one other occasion after a one week long absence from Wikipedia, his first edit was vandalizing an article where I had been editing at that time (See this). This user also has an issue with categories added by me to the articles, removing them en masse. This user also delights in very long debates (See here), as does Hatake and his other socks (See here).--Udha (talk) 15:33, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
