This page is for requesting CheckUser information on a wiki with no local CheckUsers (see also requesting checkuser access). Make sure to follow the following instructions, or your request may not be processed in a timely manner.

Before making a request:

  1. Make sure you have a good reason for the check. It will only be accepted to counter vandalism or disruption to Wikimedia wikis. Valid reasons include needing a block of the underlying IP or IP range, disruptive sockpuppetry, vote-stacking, and similar disruption where the technical evidence from running a check would prevent or reduce further disruption.
  2. Be specific in your reasons. Ambiguous or insufficient reasons will cause delays. Explain the disruption and why you believe the accounts are related, ideally using diff links or other evidence.
  3. Make sure there are no local checkusers.
  4. Please ensure that the check hasn't already been done:

How to make a request

How to make a request:

  • Place your request at the bottom of the section, using the template below (see also {{srcu}} help).
    === Username@xx.project ===
    {{CU request
     |status          = <!--don't change this line-->
     |language code   =
     |project shortcut=
     |user name1      =
     |user name2      =
     |user name3      =
    <!-- Max 10 users -->
     |discussion      = [[Example]]<!-- local confirmation link / local policy link -->
     |reason          = Reasons here. ~~~~
    }}

    For example:

    === Example@en.wikipedia ===
    {{CU request
     |status          = <!--don't change this line-->
     |language code   = en
     |project shortcut= w
     |user name1      = Example
     |user name2      = Foo
     |user name3      = Bar
    <!-- Max 10 users -->
     |discussion      = [[:w:en:Example]]<!-- local confirmation link / local policy link -->
     |reason          = Reasons here. ~~~~
    }}

  • Specify the wiki(s) you want to perform the check on.

Jaloliddin Madaminov@Meta

@Шухрат Саъдиев: Could you please clarify on which project you want this check peformed and expand a bit more the reasons of it? Diff links and pages will help us better understand the situation. Best regards, —MarcoAurelio 15:43, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

StevenPar@fr.wikisource

Doing... Hard to say. I have the feeling these are multiple groups, but can't prove it yet. Could use help from someone else... Trijnsteltalk 19:16, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your help. I will edit the request if I see other accounts created with the same unusual scheme of contributions. --Consulnico (talk) 19:24, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Looking into the edits I can see different users with different UA editing from the same ip. I assume they are classmates or similar. In some cases they share UA and ip, it is not rare when there is a shared public machine. IMHO MP. --Melos (talk) 20:07, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your time. We will investigate this. Two of the people I contacted have answered my questions, I hope your hypothesis is true. If we need further information, I will come back here. Thanks again ! --Consulnico (talk) 20:14, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Robert Ia@ro.wikipedia and Mihai7@ro.wikipedia

 Confirmed:
Some of those are blocked but I've not checked for how long, you should take care of that and amend blocks as necessary.
Inconclusive Inconclusive / Unlikely Unlikely as if they're related to the previous reports you mention.

Thanks! Late addition:

Could you please check against the other two? -- Victor Blacus (talk) 14:58, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think I'd find any relation as I did not find any other accounts when doing the original request. This user also looks like a productive community member (just checked edits) and I am not sure how a check on that account would be appropriate without further information. Not done. —MarcoAurelio 15:05, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I oversaw the fact that you had already checked those two. Sorry for having wasted your time. Thanks again! -- Victor Blacus (talk) 15:12, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Бич Божи@bg.wikipedia

In fact, I'd like to ask you here too for IP range(s) that we can block. This harassment gets practically unbearable as it wastes a huge amount of time for the administrators and the editors who patrol the recent edits. Together with the case below, the number of sockpuppets already reaches 250 only from the beginning of this year.
