Following the feedback process on proposed requirements for affiliates and user groups recognition changes on Meta-wiki as a part of the Wikimedia Foundation Affiliates Strategy process started in November 2022, new requirements for all affiliates and changes to user groups recognition process were adopted as part of the implementation of the revised Affiliate Strategy.

Every affiliate is invited to provide input for the revised Affiliate Strategy. There are multiple ways to participate:

• Attend a live session (sign up below);
• Email askcacwikimedia.org;
• use the Let’s Talk feature of Talking:2024 to sign up for a time to speak with trustees or staff; or,
• Comment on the talk page.

Live sessions

Affiliate representatives are invited to attend live sessions to provide input into this process. These sessions will be conducted in groups and the language will be English. The calls will be supported by Wikimedia Foundation staff, as well as the Board of Trustees liaisons to the Affiliations Committee (AffCom) and AffCom members subject to availability.

If you are able to attend, please sign up for your preferred call time below by adding your signature. Kindly indicate which affiliate(s) you will represent at the meeting.

Attendees will be emailed a link to the meeting 24 hours prior to the scheduled time.
