This is an Impact report for the second quarter (Q2, April through June) on the 2022 APG grant to Shared Knowledge, with special consideration given to the 2022 Annual plan.

Description of activities and learning[edit]

All these projects and activities are part of the Shared Knowledge's Annual Plan. This section will describe how the activities progressed during the Second quarter.

Education & Science Program[edit]

1. Professors Mentorship

Goals met by this activity

A total of 53 people were part in this quarter. Totaling 54 different people in the first half of the year, which is 360% achievement (planned 15 participants in the whole year). 51 people were new participants, of the planned 10, and that concludes the successful new participants metric with overachievement of 509.99% progress. One article was created and that makes five total content pages in the first half with progress of 12.5%.

2. Students Mentorship

Goals met by this activity

This project started in this quarter. Out of the two mentorship sessions/editing events, there were 42 total participants (40% progress, according to the projected 105 annual participants). New people were 40 out of planned 100 and that's 40% progress. The number of made content pages is 36 of projected 400 (9% achievement).

3. WikiTranslate

Goals met by this activity

One event was made, when this project was initiated in this quarter. In that event, 6 people participated and that is 35% of the 17 planned. When it comes to new participants, we had 4 and that presents 26.6% success of the planned 15 new participants. The quota of the annual total content pages is 120, and our semiannual progress is 20 content pages (16.6%).

4. Wikiexperiments

Goals met by this activity

The main goal of the project - making video clips - was started in this quarter, two of them. 29 videos were made. Five people concluded the total participants number, which makes 50% progress according to the TP metric (10 planned). 1 person was new and that represents 12.5% progress so far. The predicted total content pages metric (TCP) is 200 and this quarter has realized 118, 124 in total in the first half of 2022. This get us to 62% progress.

Community Program[edit]

5. CEE Spring 2022

Goals met by this activity

This monthly competition was held in this quarter, according to the plan. It comprised of six total participants (60% success) and it had no new participants according to the new participants metric (NP) which was 2. It resulted with 266 content pages which makes 95 percent success of the projected 280.

6. Editing Days

Goals met by this activity

The project was participated by eight different users. By gathering the data in the Q1 and Q2 according to the TP metric, we got participation of 18 Wikipedians and this metric is already achieved with 100% because that number was the planned though out the year. There were no new participant in this quarter, and by the old outcome of the Q1 (3 people were new) is stays 100% achievement according to the NP metric. In this quarter, the participants contributed with 574 content pages, totaling 1148 TCP in the period of January to June and making 57.4% progress (planned 2000 TCP).

7. Editing Weekends

Goals met by this activity

In the 12 editions we had, eight people participated in multiple occasions. The TP progress in the H1 of 2022 is 13 out of the projected quota of the annual 11 people which is overachievement of 118%, realized even at midterm. The new people in Q2 were 1, and that makes up the total NP number in the H1 of 2022. The projected NP metrics was 1, so the goal was achieved. The covered TCP in Q2 was 194, totaling 670 TCP in H1 out of the planned 1,500 (44.6% progress).

8. Week-a-thons

Goals met by this activity

Two editions held in this period. 2 total participants (planned 14; 14% progress) and zero new participants. 94 covered total content pages which makes 16% progress. The projected annual TCP metric is 560.

9. WikiSketch Lessons

Goals met by this activity

The project in this quarter had three participants involved, totaling a number of 4 participants in H1. The progress in this TP metrics is 7,8% (54 participants). One of them was new and that makes up 2% progress (48 new participants). The TCP metric resulted in 28 total content pages in Q2. The metrics totals 80 TCP in H1 (projected 204, 39,21% progress).

10. WikiStands

Goals met by this activity

Also this project was initiated in Q1. There were 18 participants which is a result of 54% (projected for the year were 33 participants in total). 16 new participants got involved and made up 53% out of the total projected 30 participants. The annual TCP metric is 70 and our results were 40% progress or, in other words 28 total content pages.

11. Wikiexpeditions

Goals met by this activity

One expedition was held. 4 participants were part of it which comprises 80% (5). There were no new participants. Only one image was uploaded due to technical reasons (even though hundreds of images were taken but yet not uploaded). There are 2 total content pages.

12. Archaeoexpeditions

Goals met by this activity

One expedition of this kind was made. 4 participants out of 6 planned for the year, which is 67% progress. The NP metrics is 2 while the realised number is 1 participant, so 50% progress. The realised TCP is 154 and that is overachievement because the planned annual TCP is 150 (102.6% to be exact).

13. Wiki Loves Earth 2022

Goals met by this activity

This photographic contest had a participation number of 11 people and the projection was 53 which is 20,7 %. There were 6 new participants while the projected new participants for the year was 40 which means a progress of 15%. The achieved TCP number is 2690 compared to the planned 2000 TCP according to the projection and is overachievement of 134.5%.

Partnerships program[edit]

14. WikiVillage

Goals met by this activity

1 participant was involved in this quarter, and because the same participant was involved in the first quarter, the overall TP progress in H1 stayed 80%. There were no new participants in Q2. TCP which were realized 34 in this quarter, totaling 102 and that is 42.5%.

15. Botanic Garden Skopje

Goals met by this activity

Out of the two editing events, 8 people participated in this quarter. The total participants of the half of the year is 11 out of the projected 10 participants which is an overachievement of 110%. New participants in this quarter were 6, adding to the previous Q1 3 participants and totaling in 9 NP. The 9 NP also overachieved because 8 were planned. The TCP in this project's second quarter is 46 in number. So the progress in this metric of the H1 is 334 (133.6%) of the planned 250. The TCP number dropped due to usage of 90 images uploaded in Q1 (TCP in Q1 was 378).

16. MakSport

Goals met by this activity

Maksport was participated by 3 participants in the Q2. The end result of the total participants in H1 is also 3. This is 10% of the total planned (30 participants). There were no new participants in this quarter and the progress in this metric stays at 3%. Content pages in this quarter was 1062 and the H1 ended with 1164 TCP which compared to the total annual planned 350 is and overachievement of 332%.
