Most of the programmes have their objectives (listed on grant page). This section will describe how the activities during the 3^rd Quarter lead contributed towards their fulfillment.

We were forced to stop this subject for the safety of potentional participants because of COVID-19.

We managed to make a one trip to Plasnica & Kičevo Municipalities.

This expedition was held after ending the Wiki lockout.

Two trips to Lazaropole & Poreče regions.

Wikitours

Goals met by this activity

One visit to the Lake Mladost and the town of Veles.

Some considerations

Just like expeditions, again this was held after ending the Wiki lockout. The event was funded by the grant of the Macedonian Government. The plan was to edit articles in various topics and photo shooting sites listed as cultural heritage of Macedonia in Veles.

Editing competition

1 editing competition was organized this quarter. The final results were four contesters who created 330 and improved 18 articles.

Some considerations

The competition was themed after the academic work "Macedonian Encyclopedia" which served as a source for the articles.

Just like the previous quarter, 13 editing weekends were again held and the results are: 61 participations in total that achieved 174 new articles created and 1 improved template.

Some considerations

Hence, due to COVID-19 lockout, every weekend was dedicated for editing. That is the reason for the relatively high number of covered articles.

Goals met by this activity

This subdivision is the same like the weekends. This quarter achieved 25 days dedicated for editing, participated 86 times. Given that, 399 new articles and 1 improved article were the quarterly results.

Wiki Sketch

Goals met by this activity

Again, the two users were the participants, of which one was from the past 2020 quarters. Many articles and templates about archaeology, history, films, and music got covered. So this three month, 9 articles got created and one being improved. Additionally, 29 templates were created.

Some considerations

Team Viewer and Chrome Remote Desktop were our tools for communication between the mentor and volunteers for safety reasons. That made the traveling non existing, so by working from home, the participants were more productive than the pre COVID lockout.

Photohunts

Goals met by this activity

One Photohunt in the Municipality of Kratovo, attended by one participant + 1 person for help. Three places got visited (village of Konjuh, village of Stracin and the town of Kratovo). The Participant managed to make and upload 25 images.

Some considerations

The plan was to visit and photograph the non covered villages by the wiki community and the sites listed as cultural heritage of Macedonia in Kratovo.
