Editing Days[edit]

On 2nd, the "Awareness Ribbons" Editing Day was organized which resulted with five articles, all new, by one participant. Two days later, the second editing day Sculptures by Gian Lorenzo Bernini achieved seven created articles out of one man. Next one, on 9th, one Wikipedian created three articles, improved one article, and created three templates on the Nobel Peace Prize laureates Editing Day. The fourth one was Visigothic Kings that got occurred on 11th and was attended by one participant with production of four new articles. Next one, on 16th, we turned our attention to Ancient Egyptian Religion and resulted in attendance of one user who created one article. The sixth editing day was named Paintings by Bronzino and the achieved results were four new articles by one participant. On May 23, we had the Drama Plays by Tennessee Williams ED that ended with creation of five articles and two templates through participation of two Wikipedians. Two days later, the second last Circulating Currencies ED was on and resulted in two new articles by two men. On the second last day of the month we held the Ancient Roman Wars and one Wikipedian created one article.

The outcome in May was 32 new articles, 1 improved article, and 5 created templates.

MakSport[edit]

On May 3, editing efforts were made by one user and by doing that, he created seven articles and one template. On May 8, two articles were improved. On May 9, another user improved one article. On May 10, two articles were created, two articles were improved, and two templates were also created. Two days later, one article was created, while one was improved. On May 14, 1 article was created, 1 article was improved, and two templates were created.

CEE Spring 2023[edit]

From April 4 to May 4, Shared Knowledge held its traditional CEE Spring 2023 edition. The contest comprised of four competitors who were able to create 234 articles and to improve 5 articles.

Editing Weekends[edit]

On May 6 to 7, the first EW was held, titled Denmark that was comprised of three men that achieved 15 new articles, one improved article, and six new modules. The traditional Eurovision EW, which was on 13th to 14th, had attendance of one participant who created six articles and one template. The third editing weekend we chose to be Papal Bulls and this EW had four new articles by one Wikipedian. The last weekend which had the title Mountains, had performance of eight created pages and two created templates by two men.

The outcome in May was 33 new articles, one improved article, three created templates, and six new modules.

Edit-a-thons[edit]

On May 15, 2023, an editorial marathon was held on the topic Mountaineering in Macedonia in the period from 18:00 to 21:00. The event was organized in cooperation with activists from the Mountaineering Federation of Macedonia, in the premises of the already mentioned Federation. A total of 10 people were present at the event, 8 of whom came through the Mountaineering Federation. Then 6 articles were created, 4 articles were improved, and five images were uploaded.

Professors Mentorship[edit]

As a spin-of of the project, one of our activist has been part of the lectures of the 2011 Nobel Prize laureat Dan Shechtman. The event was was organized by the Institute of Chemistry from Skopje, and the Society of Chemists and Technologists of Macedonia. The event was held on May 23 and the point of SK involvement was to capture quality photos of the respective professor and researcher. 36 images were uploaded on Commons and оn May 25, one article was created and another one was improved.

Botanic Garden Skopje Project[edit]

On May 30, a photo session and workshop was held in the Botanical Garden. First, the photo session was held, which started at 10:00 and lasted until 11:20. From the photoshoot, 93 images were uploaded on Commons.

The workshop started at 12 o'clock and lasted until three o'clock. The workshop was organized by three students from the Institute of Biology, one assistant at the same institute, as well as two employees of the Botanical Garden. 13 articles were created, thematically related to species grown in the garden.

After the photoshoot and the workshop, minor editorial engagements followed. One template was created on May 31.

Editing Weeks[edit]

From 25th to 31th, the first 2023 editing week was held. It was titled Wiki For Human Rights 2023 as part of the WikiForHumanRights initiative. The contest was participated by three competitors, totaling four people in the project. The competitors were able to create 128 articles.
