Affiliate Recognition and Derecognition: On August 26, the Affiliations Committee (AffCom) announced the extension of the pause on new affiliate recognition, which began in August 2025. The extension follows the Wikimedia Foundation's decision to extend the feedback period for the "Recognition and Funding for Movement Organizations" proposal, giving communities and affiliates more time to share input.
AffCom Movement Contributions: Throughout the past quarter, AffCom continued to engage in conversations across the Wikimedia Movement, particularly where discussions touched on the pause on recognition or where the committee’s experience could contribute to broader Movement conversations.

地方自治體委員會（舊稱分會委員會，俗稱AffCom）是一个维基媒体社群運營的委员会，受維基媒體基金會理事会之託審查新的運動自治體：如國家或地區分會、專題組織或用戶組。
在經過維基媒體基金會理事會決議後，自治體委員會於2006年1月15日與其他幾個維基媒體委員會同時成立。此委員會最初的職能是在協調（包含授權）維基媒體分會的發展，在當時，所有的分會都是十分年輕且尚在發展中的組織。同時，透過自治體委員會也能讓分會與分會間、分會與基金會之間的溝通更加順暢。
2012年，经过社群讨论和产生的理事会决议，委员会的范围扩大到包括专题组织和用户群。根据该决议，委员会起草了章程，并于8月获得理事会正式批准，确定过渡为附属委员会。2022年批准了更新的章程。
自治體委员会就维基运动附属组织的认可，审批和存在于董事会建议，并促进这些组织的创建。换句话说，委员会从世界各地帮助维基自组织成章节、专题组织和用户群，并获得由维基媒体基金会正式认可。

地方自治體委員會由志願者組成，這些志願者因其在社群組織、跨文化溝通、審查規章以及為新興組織提供治理建議方面的熱情和技能而被選中。目前有九名委員擁有表決權，每名委員的任期為三年。
擁有表決權的委員由無表決權的無票顧問提供協助。顧問為委員會提供實地經驗、語言技能和治理建議，並能夠參加小組委員會會議的討論。
維基媒體基金會的部分工作人員負責支持、協助委員會的有效運作。他們活躍於地方自治體委員會的非公開郵件清單和內部維基站點，憑藉其知識和專長向委員會提供建議。他們不是擁有表決權的委員。
維基媒體基金會理事會任命地方自治體委員會的聯絡員，以促進委員會與理事會之間的溝通與協調。聯絡員應是委員會與理事會的主要聯絡人，應負責向理事會提供委員會活動的最新情況，並向委員會提供理事會相關活動的最新情況。他們可以根據需要索取與委員會運作相關的資訊，以履行其職責。他們不是擁有表決權的委員。
