Aha ja, es war warWP.

Problem: Du findest etwas, z. B. in warWP. Du hängst ein delete-Schild ran und gehst auf m:SRG wg. global lock/block. Bis sich das ein Steward ansieht, hat auf warWP aber vielleicht schon ein lokaler Admin oder ein global sysop gelöscht (letzteres war hier der Fall). Als Steward kann ich dann nicht mehr sehen, wo der mit evtl. gelöschten Beiträgen unterwegs war. Lediglich Treffer in globalen Filtern wären via Special:AbuseLog sichtbar (bei globalen Filtern und Wikis, die globale Filter unterstützen). Ergo ist es sinnvoll, auf SRG auf das entsprechende Wiki/die entsprechenden Wikis zu verweisen. Am kürzesten (und global funktionierend):

A local sysop asked you to not make changes at their wiki, that is a completely reasonable request and you should give that request due consideration, not just apparently dismiss it. Your changes to their common.css page were uncommented in both the edit summary and the talk page, and nothing on their general VP with any reference to [[SRM]. Would that be suitable at your home wiki? So, to me, the criticism is fully and duly delivered. Your response seems tone deaf, and dismissive, and that is not how global sysops should or seen to be acting to that wiki's admins. Please could you reflect on your approach; we work as a team. Title blacklist

I believe that your changes to the title blacklist today were premature. There was no urgent requirement for a change, where a discussion about a long term regex could take place. As admins here it is our job to implement a consensus, some determined from previous discussion, some following discussions now. Can I ask that you please take adequate time in decision-making, not acting unilaterally just because someone asks. Where a wiki requires an immediate remedy, they have complete control through local tools to make whichever exclusions they like. The reason I removed this one RegEx prevents articles from people that exist in multiple wikis (large and medium sized). Thus, this regex is generally an obstacle for other projects that translate the articles. @Billinghurst:To the blacklist entry: The title blacklist entries also interfere with good contributions and has been ineffective against the abuse of the troll for about 1 year, as it always creates them with wrong titles. Hello WikiBayer. A simple explanation like this one whould have been welcomed.

I understand your point. But deleting the talk page will reveal the rename (since the log is diplayed) while sending a 404 to the web browser, so that it doesn't get archived by search engines (See this page for example).

This would allow me to remove the NOINDEX from my talk page, while still giving the information to where to find me if needed.

Hallo, ich bin normaler Admin, technische Admins hat das nds-wiktionary nicht. Du hast dort an Sylvester eine Änderung vorgenommen, https://nds.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Common.js&curid=5101&diff=140483&oldid=134392 Vielleicht kannst du mir auch bei einem anderen Problem helfen. Mithilfe der "MediaWiki:Edit.js" sollte man eigentlich beim Editieren die jeweilige Vorlage in das Editier-Fenster übernommen bekommen, wenn man diese unten anklickt. Nur irgendjemand muss irgendetwas geändert haben, so dass das schon lange nicht mehr funktioniert. Selbst wenn ich noch alle Berechtigungen besitzen würde, ich bin einfach überfordert, herauszufinden, woran es liegt, warum es nicht mehr funktioniert, und wie man es wieder zum Laufen bringt. Und es wäre sehr lieb, wenn du dir das einmal anschauen würdest, und versuchen würdest, den Fehler zu finden. Ursprünglich habe ich die edit.js im englischen Wiktionary "geklaut", auch noch viel mehr, weil deren Vorlagen und Module usw. bei uns besser passen als das von den deutschen Schwesterprojekten. Allerdings mehr als anpassen kann ich die nicht, das fällt mir schon schwer, aber wenn irgendwo einer irgendetwas ändert, ich nicht einmal weiß, was geändert wurde, bin ich völlig überfordert. Und es würde auf Dauer die Arbeit doch sehr vereinfachen, wenn man wieder die Vorlagen durch einfachen Mausklick in das Editierfenster bekäme statt mit Paste and Copy. --Joachim Mos (talk) 12:22, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Eine zweite Chance gebe ich schon her, trotzdem muss ein Kandidat die Vorraussetzungen erfüllen. GS sind vertrauenswürdige Benutzer, dies ist Tulsi definitiv nicht. Außerdem gilt das. Tulsi versucht seitdem er entsperrt wurde, in allen möglichen Projekten rechte zubekommen seine Tätigkeiten sind gezielt so ausgelegt das er die bekommt. Dazu kommt noch, dass er offensichtlich der Meinung das Rechte ein Statussymbol sind. Nebenbei Zitat:"jungen Leuten" er ist ~ ungefähr gleich alt wie ich es bin. Heute erfolgte eine Versionslöschung [4] auf meiner Meta-Wiki user page durch User:Tulsi. Mein deutscher Text Besser spät als nie ("diese Dynamik zu unterbrechen") wurde von User:Tulsi mit der Begründung [5] "Grossly insulting, degrading, or offensive material: Violation of Meta:Civility" versionsgelöscht. Meines Wissens ist User:Tulsi der deutschen Sprache nicht mächtig - wie kommt er zu seiner Entscheidung? I understand being annoyed with LTAs, but the point of providing a summary is to inform both the blocked user and others (readers, local communities, etc.) about why an action was made. These "long-term idiot" summaries are unhelpful and not what is expected from global sysops. Please do not use summaries like this in the future. There is an ongoing discussion on a proposed policy governing the use of external resources in gadgets and UserJS. The proposed Third-party resources policy aims at making the UserJS and Gadgets landscape a bit safer by encouraging best practices around external resources. After an initial non-public conversation with a small number of interface admins and staff, we've launched a much larger, public consultation to get a wider pool of feedback for improving the policy proposal. Based on the ideas received so far, the proposed policy now includes some of the risks related to user scripts and gadgets loading third-party resources, best practices for gadgets and UserJS developers, and exemptions requirements such as code transparency and inspectability.

As an interface administrator, your feedback and suggestions are warmly welcome until July 17, 2023 on the policy talk page.

File talk pages that you deleted in the Breton wiki

You mass-deleted many file talk pages created by an anonymous user in the Breton wiki recently. In fact this user was really helping to locate files that were not useful because there were identical files in Commons, or because of license issues. Additionally, you only deleted the talk pages and not the files themselves, which is not a useful action in my opinion since they contained the reason for the deletion request.

Das letzte Signal seitens der WMF war, dass die Richtlinie zum IP Infotool vermutlich nochmal angepasst wird, weil sie unsinnigerweise strikter ist als die Berechtigung zum Zugriff auf die IP-Adresse.
