<translate>Welcome to the community review for <tvar|round>2015-2016 round 2</> of the Annual Plan Grant program!</translate>
<translate> The fdc>Special:MyLanguage/Funds Dissemination Committee</>|Funds Dissemination Committee invites you to review any or all submitted proposals for this round during this community review period (<tvar|date>1–30 April 2016</>). A list of these proposals is below.
These proposals come from Wikimedia organizations that are requesting Wikimedia movement funds to implement their annual plans. The annual plan for the Wikimedia Foundation is also open for review. While some proposals are lengthy, all proposals have an overview section that outlines the basic components of each request and the total amount requested in US dollars.
After reviewing a proposal, please post your comments and questions on the discussion page of the proposal (linked below). You can post questions and feedback in your own language, not just in English. If you have general questions about the process, please post them on this page's discussion page. </translate>
<translate> This call to review proposals focuses on one of the Wikimedia Foundation's four grantmaking programs. The Annual Plan Grant program will make up to $6 million in grants this year to movement affiliated organizations for their mission-aligned programs. During this community review period (<tvar|date>1–30 April 2016</>), the fdc>Special:MyLanguage/Funds Dissemination Committee</>|Funds Dissemination Committee invites you to review any or all submitted proposals for this round by examining how they aim to use money raised through donations to the Wikimedia movement to further the priorities>strategy:Strategic Plan/Movement Priorities</>| movement priorities. A list of these proposals is above. You are welcome to engage with other community members, FDC staff, or Wikimedia organizations (also called "entities") in on-wiki discussions about any proposal.
As you read the proposal, you may want to consider some of these questions:
What experience does the organization have that will enable it to implement their plan?
How realistic are the goals and intentions?
How has the community been involved? If this proposal is successful, how will it affect the community?
What impact will the proposed programs have?
What are the areas of work most excited you? Which areas sound less promising?
Do you need more information about anything in the proposal?
Your comments and questions will help the FDC to make funding recommendations for these proposals. Your comments and questions are read and reviewed by FDC staff, who write assessments of the proposals, and they are considered directly by the FDC during their deliberations. Community comments are essential to review proposals effectively. The Wikimedia organizations that have submitted these proposals will respond to your comments and questions on the discussion pages during the review process. </translate>
