CAMBRIDGE WIKIMEDIA MEETUP NUMBER 35

When: Sunday 3rd September 2017 — meetup 15:00 onwards, preceded by a software workshop from 13.00.

Where: Makespace, 16 Mill Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1RX, UK

This will be a second joint Wikimedia-ContentMine meetup, in the Makespace community workshop. Please ask for accessibility details, if you need them. This event also has an Eventbrite page and map. You don't need to sign up to both (or either, in fact).

There will be an innovation this time: a software workshop on a food science theme, running from 1 pm to 3 pm, based on the new WikiFactMine tools: to be followed by the usual social occasion. By tradition, that runs from 3 pm to 6 pm, after which some of us may go to The Mill pub. Details of the workshop will be available nearer the time. Hot drinks are available in the Makespace kitchen, and you may purchase some snacks there. Bring a bag lunch if you want.

Attended[edit]

and three others. Charles presented a workshop on ContentMine dictionary creation, Edward on https://osm.wikidata.link/, Deryck on the Cantonese Wikipedia. Two went on to The Mill pub at 6 pm.
